Well sounds like you are both having it rough as well.
And xddon't feel to bad I haven't worked since Feb of 07 whent he store I was workling at was sold. And November of last year the back got alot worse than it has ever been. Doctors have me on Neurotin for the nerve pain Motrin and Flexeril for the muscles. I take them three times a day the third neurotin I have to take two of plus an elavil just to sleep. Then I can sleep anywhere from 8 to 12 hours depending on how bad it hits me. I just hate not being able to get disability when I need pain management and if that doesn't help they said neuro surgery.

Wow. You know, everyone always says "there's always someone who has it worse." It's really true ... but keep that in mind in your case also Lewis. As bad as it seems, someone else out there has it even worse. I just can't believe they won't give you disability.

Wow. You know, everyone always says "there's always someone who has it worse." It's really true ... but keep that in mind in your case also Lewis. As bad as it seems, someone else out there has it even worse. I just can't believe they won't give you disability.

I agree with you as to the disability and wonder why they wont!!! As to the some one else who is worse don't you just feel sorry for the poor sap! LOL

I do hope for the best for you dear!!! And wish that you did not have to fight for disability ... you do have a lawyer right?

I try looking at it this way. There is only so much a person can do without making themselves worse. So I do what I can when I can and try getting as much rest and try staying as comfortable as I can at any given time of day. If I get any worse I make sure to let the doctors know so what ever it is can be documented in my medical records.

Glad to hear you are staying away from the slippery stuff. We both know that is not the good kind. Hope you are feeling better hon. It is nasty to get ill on the road. Hope you get this way when we aren't getting more snow. That doesn't sound like that will happen for some time. We are supposed to get some just about every day for the next week. 3-4 inches at at time doesn't sound like much but it is enough to make such a mess of everything. Especially when the temps then drop too the teens and the salt doesn't work too well. But then of course you do know all of that.

So, any new equipment in your Rolling Dungeon?

Unfortunately you are probably correct. We have the stuff that came down blowing around and drifting a bit. The plows and snow blowers have been though so things aren't too bad.

It is gray and gloomy here too. Hoping the next round of snow doesn't start until it is forecast to.

I guess we are now paying for the mild summer we had. It snowed here about 1/2 in last week and more forecast for this week.
