Manof - Glad you are done with the "high" painting. Since when do you want to stay out of trouble? Oh, that is for publication. Ooops. Things are going well with Mom. I talked with her again tonight. Looks like the medicine dosing and schedule is straightened out. Thank you for asking. Other things are as good as they can be. Still looking for work. Have a few items working, but now that the holiday is this week, it all shuts down. Looking for more activity on it next week. Have a great 4th.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY !!!

You are no happier than I that the "high" stuff is done. It was one time, I wasn't that happy for a breeze. I used to zing up and down ladders all the time, but age has put a little hesitancy to my steps. But it is over! The trouble, I don't need, the excitement, I do!

Glad to hear your Mom is getting on track with the meds. They all work so similar but different together and even differently with each person, so it does take a while to get them straight.

Good luck with the continued search, it can be a bear all right.

Super 4th celebration

We had a great day, no one got hurt! We ate ribs, brisket, chicken, brauts, Mac (n cheese), geez the list goes on and on. Plenty of libations of all sorts and a shower to wet the grass to keep down fires. The night display went on for about 3 hours straight, it was wild! But this Man from Mithgar was one tired guy at the end. Just too many young women that I hadn't seen in a long time that just had to shower me with hugs and kisses. Oh, the work a dirty ole man has to endure. But, I did survive it all. Not counting the daggers the other half sent my way. Hey, not my fault, right guys?

Anyway, calm day today, just moving a couple of things and picking up our grills from the party. The wife gets her stitches out today, maybe. (I don't think so, but she does.)

I hope everyone else had a safe night. Hugs and kisses to the ladies and ^5s to the guys. L8R

Good Morning All. Hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th. Spent a while last night playing catch-up to make sure all is well with everyone. Just as I was about to post...poof...total darkness. Not sure what happened, but our whole street lost power.

Mayi - Be careful painting hon. How did your interviews go? I'm so excited for you, hoping you find a great job.

Dream - Your posts continue to bring a smile to my heart. You are such a treasure hon. It's a joy to see your happiness bubbling out over the pages.

Art - Thank you for helping us believe that dreams really can come true.

MOM - Sounds like you had a great, fun-filled 4th. Clean-up afterwards is always the pits, but it helps if you think about all the laughter, good food and all those hugs & kisses you were forced to endure. lol

BD - Love your poems. I know you were just teasing Dream, but just in case...don't ever stop writing, please!!

Lee - Since you have such a wonderfully busy weekend ahead, I want to wish you a little early HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Sure wish I could join you all at the Faire. I love festivals and it sounds like this one will be especially wonderful with so many friends coming out to share in your special day.

KR - Take good care of Lee...make sure she keeps plenty of sunscreen on hand.

Kayte - So glad to hear your mom is doing better now that they have her meds straightened out.
