When We Die <Sign ups, discussion OOC etc>

I've decided to make this topic without a backstory for just now. I'll add one when it's finished.

This is an idea I've had and want to play out, I'm still doing back research into it so as to be as realistic as possible whilst retaning some fantasy.

The year is 1945, the time? D-Day.

I plan to follow an alternate World War 2, everything has happened more or less the same way as World War 2 did, except the Russians stopped in Eastern Poland (Border of Poland here)

The RPG will focus on one squad, a twelve man group of mixed nationality, 8 Brits 4 Americans. I'm not sure the proper squad yet but I'm thinking two sappers, and the rest whatever a sqaud was like back then.

They experince D-Day and the push all the way through Europe then instead of Germany they hit Italy then Germany then it all goes to pot, but the Germans aren't in retreat at all until Italy and France and half of Germany falls.

So thoughts etc?

b) No Pearl Harbour till just after Germany goes down

My first post, and on a topic that interests me more than anything imagine (i.e., World War II). I'd like to try and initiate myself in this game, and I would love to help you work out some of the resources. I could help with most questions you may have, especially concerning the German military.
