I bet most of us have either read a news report about some fucked up violent wank doing something super nasty or had personal experience.

So I'm wondering.

Would you take things into your own hands when you know it's not very likely that an assailant is going to get their just deserts?

Could you get some mates together and go shopping for pitchforks, shovels and other necessary items when you are ready to go mob someone?

Or do you think it should all be left to the law and hope the justice system comes through and punishes the criminal to the fullest?

I know of rural communities plagued by packs of wild dogs. I know of locals passing the word that people and pets should be kept inside on a specific night between certain hours. I have heard many gunshots fired. Afterwards, no dog packs. Is that vigilantism?
