The Amusing world of CyberSex/Erotic Role Playing.

Okay, I'm bored as hell and have been thinking about writing up a post on this because.. It is kind of amusing to me and I wonder if anyone else has encountered similar situations.

I must admit, The world of CyberSex is not something I've really had much personal experience in, except for a few times. Most of the experiences that'd qualify as CyberSex weren't really for self pleasure for either party, unless noone told me of course. I Role Play quite a bit in different places, or I used to anyway, Message Boards, Chat Rooms and what not. Sexual
RP's? No, Subjects ranging from Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, A Matrix sim, other fantasy settings and a few things a few friends of mine and me came up with ourselves.

Most of it has been good clean, family fun.. well when you rule out some of the swearing, violence and sexual innuendo's.. Okay scratch that family fun bit. The first time someone attempted to lay me in a IC setting was.. in retrospect? damn funny. I was just clueless lol. I think IRL this gal was a older teenager who probably was in it for self pleasure.

We'd been friends in a IC sense for six months and she was 'married', but a bit on the trampy side. This being a IRC based RP, I RPed my character the way he was, a nice gentlemen who was always wanting to help out.. Okay being too nice came back to bite me in the ass in this instance and I asked her back to my private bar. This was probably five years ago I guess, I was
naive and clueless as she threw herself at my character, kissing, talking about how much she thought of me.. I did realize it once.. she started fondling certain places and taking off her shirt, talk about feeling uncomfortable and down right foolish for not realizing it sooner.

It didn't go anywhere, I wasn't comfortable doing it personally and I stalled it out till she had to go to bed. And this continued on for a few weeks, I've seen people mix IC and Out of Character ((OOC) feelings all to often and I was concerned about hurting her feelings yes. So I sorta put up with it, allowing her to fondle, touch, strip and do whatever except the actual deed..
And it became really funny when she started making OOC comments about her boyfriend and ranting about burnt popcorn as she tried to do naughty things...

I was down right embarrassed when another person I knew in that place, who at that point was becoming a pretty good online friend in a OOC sense came into the room and backed out, IMing me later and noting she wasn't comfortable around people who did that sorta thing.. Dear lord did I set that woman straight.

That was just the first time, stopped reading yet? Oh well.. Life continued on. In later years, as I got into other Chat RPs on a web based HTML chat server, I saw these things happen more.. and better yet? They had private rooms with chat logs to read back through all the dirty details..

Personally myself? If a character of mine was heading towards a one night stand or whatever, I'd talk to the other player privately, noting I was going to do a fade out and not Play the act out, which in most cases was just fine. So I did the fade outs but many people took it into the private room, Was I a perv for reading such things? Hell no, The logs were down right hilarious.


The way some of these people carried out these sex scenes were so funny, so unrealistic and well.. from a Artistic point of view? just bad Roe Playing. I wish I had kept some of the more funny ones so I could post them today, but somehow I have a feeling many people have seen cases of CyberSex Gone bad. I read through quite a few logs just for laughs, They were far
more valuable as comedic material then for carnal pleasure.

Anyway, I eventually delved into some 'erotic' Role Play, One of the story lines/RP settings a friend of mine came up with, had a small portion that was driven by something of a Sexual Nature, and honestly? It was quite interesting to see Sex and pleasure used as a tool of control and power. It advanced the story along and nothing more. and I only did it because it involved a close group of friends that were trust worthy and damn good Role Players.

Out side of that? I tried to.. carry on a few sessions past a fade out with some females, sometimes yes just for pleasure.. but I could never get into it.. Why? It was usually just so laughable and bad, How the hell can someone enjoy something like that when they're about to fall out of the chair laughing? I always got out of such things, but did it in a nice way of course.

So, My basic rule was to stay away from such things, which really didn't matter much to me. It wasn't something I required in my life and I honestly had better things to do. But I admit it's interesting sometimes, In a sense of.. It's challenging to write out such things with someone, In a way it's like Playing out a fight but instead of trying to maim the other party you're trying to
pleasure them, lol.


Recently though, I was Playing with someone in a chat room, and we took it to IM, I didn't really intend for anything more then giving a back massage to the other character but oh well, it got a little carried away and the player was cool about it. She was a pretty good player so far, so I thought what the hell and for the first time, It was something that was interesting to play out and enjoyable. And we've continued every few nights, and I admit.. One of the last times? Well, I admit it was really arousing, just the setting we had and how it played out, lol. More details on that another time maybe..


And after a long time lurking here, I registered and decided to post tidbits and even engaged in a session more geared for pleasure, and was honestly surprised to be told that I was a natural lol. "well, this is really one of my first times doing this. -cough-" "really?" well, I'm still surprised. But the funny thing is, When talking to some of my female friends, we'd sometimes get on the subject of sex and cyber sex. "Do you do it?" "not really." "could you?" "Maybe, not sure how good." Then they'd demand an example lol. Well, I doubt my skills in that department still.. but you may ask yourself.. What was the point of this?


Simple, I was just wondering if anyone's ever ran into a situation where the other person was so bad, They couldn't go on for laughing to damn hard or just.. suddenly felt very uncomfortable. Just curious to hear other peoples thoughts on when things go bad or rather kinda funny. Maybe I'm just weird and shouldn't enforce writing standards on people lol.

lol, As I said it might've been a bit..tongue in cheek, but I've seen some pretty awful stuff out there. Though... The explanation might be rather simple, different circles. Most of the people here are mature adults while in other places? The crowd is.. younger, Teenagers I suppose, but then again some were adult.

Bad English is enough to bug me, But I've Role Played so long, thats a big part of it. Still wish those old log sites were still up, then I could give a good example. Though, I remember one time, I've a detailed Role Player so.. in anything I write, I tend to be detailed..

I'm a role player too. In fact I'm addicted. That is how I began in cyber. I wrote about this someplace else. The Is cyber cheating thread. Anyway, Yes people are very strange and many of them don't bother to spell or even know what they are talking about. Many of them are very young. Each to their own I say. Then I stealth myself and duck em.

As to you writing a long detailed thing out and her response, that would piss me off. One sentence responses turn me off! Hey, I've worked to bring you this beautiful nasty little piece of writing and you say. "Oh that feels so good, more?" No. You have to give me more than that honey! LOL!

I missed your whole first post somehow, sorry! Yeah I've had people who wanted stuff I had no interest in. People who didn't know how to weave their words in a cooperative fashion with me to make a scene in which the characters still had personalities, goals, wishes outside of sex. Where the sex actually fit their characters and then I've done it for nothing but the sex.

Want to know something really hard? Go from ic sex to occ sex. Go from using your characters name to your own or even "I". No longer Miranda or Brock sucked that cock/pussy feeling the texture in her mouth but. I sucked that cock, rolling it in my mouth loving the hard fleshy texture. Well it was hard for me to get used to. Still I managed.

I tend to think what is hard to do, what you resist, is often worth forcing yourself to try.

You know? Grow a lot that way. Learn new things.

lol, Oh I know what you mean. I did that recently... I've Role Played on Message Boards, Chat Rooms etc. for so long its just natural, I hate writing in the first person then when something like that comes up? Like it did recently, It's a pain. I kept writing out long detailed posts then went... damn, I done it all in third person.

I managed as well somehow. But I agree, It's just something else you can grow from if you tackle it head on.

I run a little vampire rpg site that allows adult role play in a private forum and I must admit the quality in there ranges from those who are just basically doing it to do it and those that are doing it to further their character's storyline.

I started cybering through role play and would not/could not do it out of character for fear of people taking it the wrong way, even then I was very careful on who I did it with. Now I've come to the point with a couple of friends I can and it's good but with others it'll never happen because they dont do it the way I do!

I'm really curious about all this "taking it the wrong way" and "doing it the way I do it" stuff. What do you mean by that? Do you mean they will obsess over you thinking it's just cyber? Please explain.

Vampire site eh? That is my favorite thing to play! Just right now, I'm having a hard time finding a site that is active enough and has real story lines to follow. I'm always looking for good rp!

I'm hard headed and set in my ways lol. I've always wondered why Vampire RPGs and Sex go hand in hand lol. Those sites I spoke of? There was one that had some pretty crappy sessions in private.. *shudders*

No Offense, I just never understood it. lol. Sadly all the good RP's for me have long since died. *Sigh* My Passion has died too... :/
