For me it's McDonald's .... fresh, fast and freaking HOT !!!!

You Know You're Drinking Too Much Coffee When...

You get a speeding ticket even when you're parked.

You have a bumper sticker that says: "Coffee drinkers are good in the sack."

You just completed another sweater and you don't know how to knit.

You grind your coffee beans in your mouth.

You lick your coffeepot clean.

You spend every vacation visiting "Maxwell House."

You don't sweat, you percolate.

You go to AA meetings just for the free coffee.

You've built a miniature city out of little plastic stirrers.

People can test their batteries in your ears.

When someone says. "How are you?", you say, "Good to the last drop."

You want to be cremated just so you can spend the rest of eternity in a coffee can.

You name your cats "Cream" and "Sugar."

You think being called a "drip" is a compliment.

You don't tan, you roast.

You don't get mad, you get steamed.

Your coffee mug is insured by Lloyds of London.

Your first-aid kit contains two pints of coffee with an I.V. hookup.

All your kids are named "Joe".
:D

My favorite coffee joint has an unlimited supply of fresh French Roast, an ashtray and a pc......

I am there now!

Home sweet Home!

:p

And since Starbuck's is now found in the grocery store, life is good!

favorite stop over for coffee would be Tim Hortons

The vendor who parks his coach outside my building. 20 oz of hot coffee for just $1.25. God Bless America!!!!!! lol

Dunkin Donuts

Is there anyone else here who thinks Starbucks is the biggest coffee scam going?

Their scones are awesome, though.

Down in New Orleans, there are many Cafe' du Monde Coffee & Beignet Shops. Their coffee puts Starbucks to shame.
I still say that if they had them here, Cafe' du Monde would put Starbucks out of business.

There's no coffee like coffee w/chicory.

batter i thought i saw you there the other day.......hmmmmmm next time remember to dress before entering lol.........you caused a bloody traffic jam 3 blocks long lol;)

Starbucks coffee sucks. Every cup I've ever gotten there tastes like it's the last cup from the bottom of the pot, burned beyond drinkability. How the hell this company survives is beyond me. Give me the street vendor for a buck twenty-five any day of the week!

from Seattle...

Well, since I live in Seattle, coffee is a way of life here. As an early birthday gift (my bday is the 18th) I got $50 in Starbucks gift certificates. My favorite coffee joint though is a little hippie joint here called "Insomnia."

Is that like the Cafe Nervosa? :D

Not a coffee drinker. Stuff makes me wretch. Unless I add about 15 packs of suger to it. Then, it is drinkable.

One time, my friend and I went to Denny's at 3am, and ordered coffee to drink. I ended up emptying all the suger packets at my table, and the two tables next to me. Into one cup. When it was all gone, there was a syrupy goo filling the bottom half of the cup. But, it was drinkable finally. ;)

Starbucks is run by teenagers, who seem to put four times as much coffee as is needed in each pot. Maybe that's how they justify charging $2.75 for a cup. Blech.

The best coffee to me is right here at my house. I have a professional Cuisine Art coffee maker, I buy the best coffee, and grind it myself. :D

Don't drink coffee, but there is a nice coffee house two blocks from my house, that we go to every once in a while when we want a late night snack, but don't feel like making it ourselves. At least they carry different flavored teas, and milkshakes for people like me who can't do the coffee thing. Great sandshiches, free DSL internet, lots of books to read, and games to play too. A real homey feel to it.

Gilly bean, I'm with you on the few occasions that I actually drink coffee, I have to overload it with sugar too.

The only times I drink coffee is after sex ...

So ya know I am like drowing in coffee beans down here...

No, really the only time I seem to drink coffee is when I am with my man. He was the one who introduced me to coffee *along with others things * but that is in another thread. Anyways when I saw him drinking his coffee the first time he made it so delicious so soon I was drinking along with him.... we usually go to a little place called " Puro Cafe".... very nice coffee & good atmosphere. :);)

Wow! Poker, that looks too cool! I wonder if it will wash your car for ya' too. ;)

Coffee

I dislike Starbucks coffee with a passion !

I love making coffee at hime with my cheapo hand bean grinder and my knackered old coffee maker.

My fave place for a coffee is a place called Costas. It's a chain coffee place over here in the UK, it's expensive, but tastes amazing.

Just around the corner from my local Costas, is a place called Whittards that sell the most amazing cappuchino / expresso makers I have seen. They are expensive (cheapest £60, most expensive £325) but the manufacturers have an excellent reputation (Gaggia).

Lobito, that coffee house sounds lovely :)

I wish I knew of a place like that. My fave pastime is sitting down somewhere comfy and doing some writing or reading.

Whoa... kids these days are rolling their coffee into joints?!?!

I REALLY need to get with the times... *sigh* ;)
