Help!

Seems the ideal place to ask.....

How do you work out your bra size in the US....

The UK goes kinda:
AA, A,B,C,D,DD,E,F,FF,G,GG,H,HH,......Arghhhh!

Every cup size is a 2" increase in the size

So, how does it work in the US?

Heart x

PS: I am moving to Canada in 3 weeks and this will help me defy gravity a little longer there too!

I'm proud of mine!

No silicone or saline in these babies.

From an explanation provided by Hullo_nurse to my question some months ago:

---
If we want to get technical here, then I shall indulge you all. If you take a measurement around the rib cage under the armpit but above the breast (we will call this the "chest")

that is the # part of the bra size. Then you take a second measurement around the chest at the nipple, so it is rib cage + tit(we will call this "bust"). You subtract the "chest" measuremenmt from the "bust" measurement and the difference will tell you the
cup size:

0.5-1.5" = A cup
1.5-2.5" = B cup
2.5-3.5" = C cup
3.5-4.5" = D cup
4.5-5.5" = DD or E cup
5.5-6.5" = DDD or F cup
6.5-7.5" = FF or G cup
7.5-8.5" = GG cup
8.5-9.5" = H cup
9.5-10.5"= I cup

Doe this explain it to all you "shut-in's" & whatnot?

I can never measure correctly, I just gave up after a while.

No, of course, the only way to get it right is to try the damned things on. There are lots of considerations when you buy a bra...soft cup, padded, underwire, or not. elastic straps vs. cotton, number of hooks and wherethey are located. How the strps fall across you back....etc., etc., etc......

Sensua

Of course you're right. I hate bra shopping, I hate bras... they're never comfortable enough. Ever tried a bralette? VS has them, they're sexy and comfy.

Whoa, just tried that (yeah, I'm that bored.) I really must have measured wrong, cuz that chart tells me I'm a 36GG!! I AM NOT!!! Nowhere near that...

The measurements are INCHES, not Centimeters. :p

Eight centimeters difference would make you a C-cup which pretty much matches your picture.

Oh, was that the problem? LMAO

You can tell I'm a C-cup from my picture? (my profile picture, I assume) Wow, you're good! :)

I think I saved it from the Taking Advantage of the Upload... thread. Actually, I'd guess you were closer to a B cup from the picture, but C-cup fit the conversion of 8cm to 3.1 inches a bit better.

Actually, since I'm very near sighted, I probably should check my impression via the Braille method next time you pas through LAs Vegas. :p

34-D!

I used to be so mad I was a 34, until my C-cups started getting too tight.
