How about it? Tell me about one thing that happened today that made you smile, made you laugh or just gave you a warm tinglely feeling.

Me? Well, the BEST thing (that I can actually tell you about) was a really fun, flirtatious conversation I had with a friend - while soaking in a nice, hot bubblebath!

Brought a happy ending to a MONDAY kind of Monday!

Thanks, hon

Went for a walk in the pouring rain. It was warm and soft, and my kids were ecstatic splashing in puddles.

Today was a really bad day for me too - at first. The hard drive on my laptop crashed this weekend and I was told today that there was no hope of saving any of the data. I LIVE by that laptop - it's like my right hand. So...that was the beginning.

My favorite uncle died this weekend and dealing with my divorced parents is like separating 3 year olds. Why must they behave that way?????? Why are they so mean-spirited towards each other after being apart for more than 20 years????

But sometimes it's the little things that make it all ok. A friend calls at the crack of dawn to check on you or you share a little "afternoon delight" with your lover and maybe a nice glass of wine while watching the sunset.

Hopefully we all have at least ONE thing in our day brings that small ray of sunshine. Just for a moment, even - to laugh and smile and feel good.

Good vibes to all!

got an e-mail from my daughter that just said, "i love you". we had a really nice father's day talk yesterday so this was an unexpected but very much enjoyed surprise.

I got several belated birthday gifts. A great CD from hubby and an incredible gift certificate to Williams-Sonoma from a friend.

I'm incredibly pleased right now...the way to my heart is *definitely* through gifts, I've decided. *grins*

I bought THEE coolest dress for the midevil costume party I'm going to on Saturday!! :D

AND I found my friend's phone number...i haven't talked to them in 3 years!!

Lit getting back up and running - I was so going through withdrawal!

well

The day started great because I woke up and that meant another day above ground. lol
I am busy at work lately so it was hectic but around 2:00 I got a call from a very special lady. We talked for about 15 minutes but it felt like only a minute. I smiled most of the afternoon after that.
We had planned on a more intense conversation when I got home but unfortunately her children got a short day of school for some reason so that kind of put a damper on that. It was still fantastic though.

A nice phonecall did all of that for me today.

All three of my cats got in bed with me at the same time and took a nap. No fighting or intimidation from any of them. (They usually fight over the territory next to me, but I've been away for the weekend, so they're on extra-good behavior.)

I came home to find a lovely basket of flowers waiting for me from a very special friend.

:)

Today...

...I finished a contract assinment, have two new to choose between, possibly both with jetting between, am packing for summer on the lake in Heaven, heard from delicious friends in both locales and a good buddy in Antigua.

Total spontenaity and choices abounding in all quadrants. Healthy. Happy. Sunshine. Erections continue unabated, abounding and fullsome.

Plus...was not hit by a truck.

Suh-weet.

The best part of today was a friend reporting on getting a new job. That was soooooo cool.

It didn't make me laugh or smile - just heave a great sigh of relief; I made it home after riding about 300 miles in the cold wet rain with crummy visibility - barely missing a bunch of multi-car pile ups. Next time I think I will just wait for better weather.
