Well in my home tonight I have NO idea because its after 4am here and I can't sleep and I am a little peckish though that's not such a good idea unless I have some yogurt or something. Obviously I am hungry or I might be rambling less..........ahh the pleasure of being inane........smiles

If its a special recipe or something perhaps you might consider adding it to Catalina's BDSM Kitchen if your feeling a bit 'sharing' :D

Back to bed for me and I will look for inspiration here later :rose:

Not sure what's for dinner, I'm more sleepy than hungry...

For the kids it will be mushroom/onion brown rice, steak or ribs and asparagus.

For me it could be middle eastern rice, Greek salad, humus and pita bread or left over tostada pizza from California Pizza or something else. I'm still up in the air with it.

I think... brownies.

Which means I need to go make brownies.

LOL!

Want to know how bad Domino's Pizza is?

Now they give you free brownies when you order. The brownies probably suck too though.

I like turtle brownies!!!

I got a plain cheese pizza on whole wheat from deli section at the grocery store. When it's time to bake, I'm adding sweet onions, green peppers, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, zuchinni slices, and tomato chunks with a sprinkle of extra cheeze to hold all the veggies on. I have a friend coming over to watch movies and we're going to share. We're watching BAD science fiction movies tonight. :nana:

Bolognese sauce I cooked a couple of days ago heavy on the field mushrooms with pasta tossed in full bunch chopped continental parsley (fresh herb freaks here ) and shaved Parmesan cheese.

Its been raining heavily/storms for three days , its Sunday Night, the power has been off in the entire area and I would rather cut my own arm off than cook anything from scratch tonight.......... :D

I let someone else do it for me tonight....

Garden salad w/bleu cheese, Black Angus strip and a twice baked....

Food is good. :nana:

Dinner was chicken alfredo he made for himself and some sandwiches for me.

Food I'm making for the rest of the week- a large batch of asian style chicken with garlic and onion and soy sauce and white wine all mixed together as the marinade.

Then there's the crock pot with beef cubes, celery, carrots, bell peppers, onion, garlic and spices that's simmering along happily. I'll divide that into portions after I reduce the sauce that its in some more once the meat's done.

Then all the food I made will be portioned out into plastic containers and frozen till needed for lunches and dinners for the week. Trying hard to eat better, the answer is to have 'easy, handy' good food.

And of course cream cheese brownies from scratch- because chocolate and cream cheese are good for your. One for the heart and the other for the bones- calicum. ;)

dinner last night - call for my son - "come over dad", grilled hamburger and hot dogs both with mustard for me, BBQ chips and homemade potato salad, for desert rolling on the floor with both grandsons and stealing their jellybeans...

Last night I made chili and cornbread. (from scratch) As usual it dissappeared - I make awesome chili and cornbread. :D

Tonight I'm going to do this yummy parmesan chicken dish. I found the recipe on the back of a mayonaisse jar - and I'm hooked. We'll also have brocolli in cheese sauce, and probably some form of potatoes (either baked or mashed, depends on my energy).

As for the rest youse, it all sounds pretty good exceptin' the meat and such, to me!

And they advertise them as being "warm," but surely by the time you get done with the pizza they have cooled off...

Hmm, what's for dinner tonight for me?

*checks menu*

Tuscan Soy over Veggie Cous Cous
Asparagus Parmesan

Oh, that's a good one. I like that.

I am supposed to have a tomato and broccoli casserole (it has pasta in it) and fruit. I was also supposed to have an open faced roast beef sandwich as a snack too but I fell asleep.
I'm not hungry.
This diet plan isn't going too well. I mean, I had a Lean Cuisine AND pineapple AND a spinach and strawberry salad for lunch. I don't even want to think about dinner yet.
How much food do they want me to eat?

*grumbles*

We are too tired to cook. So it is canned vegetable beel soup...if my daughter or I can muster the strength. I am thinkng about peanut butter and jelly (apple) with a big glass of !% milk sounds much better.

Its official I hate Vixandra for reminding me a 'cooking day' is a good investment in healthy home cooked foods and not wasting food that's currently fresh AND I hate the Idiotso who started this thread.

I am currently cooking about 8 varieties of food and my immaculate kitchen looks like culinary School for the truly depraved. I am hiding out here drinking coffee on the premise I need to let the wok cool down before I wash it and start again.

damn........

Oh I also hate all the people above who posted foods that sound delicious which hasn't helped and I swear the only ones with their heads glued on straight SweetCherry and Eb so far for that no nonsense approach.

IzeofGreen gets recommendation for having what sounds like someone else making excellent food and Sir Shank for having the good sense to leave home completely to eat.

Brioche keep up the good work ;)

*pouts*

My husband made the kids foods!

A restaurant and a grocery store made the rest.

I know the owner a a really great Bar and Grill and that's a Saturday Night Special... His chicken RAWKS, but I was in the mood for a steak...

Tonight however, I cooked. BBQ Pork Steaks, Garden Salad with Ranch and Croissants...

Again, food is good. :D

Oh, that's a good one. I like that.

You eat your desert after dinner? That's just flat out weird. :p
