What's for breakfast

Ok this is a spin off of the gravy thread, but i am curious to know what is a person's favourite breakfast.

For me, it is pancakes with lemon and sugar, or else a good "fry up" with bacon, sausages, ham, tomato, mushrooms, egg.

I like a nice greasy pork product/egg/toast kinda breakfast best of all, but I rarely have it.

Most days its a couple of doughtnut from the bakery at the grocery store on my way to work.But my favorite breakfast would be biscuits and gravy and sausage and eggs (sunny side up) with side of grits.

Mine would be eggs in a basket (sourdough toast with an egg cooked over medium in the middle, for the lay reader), some Cracker Barrel hashbrown casserole (cheesey with onion - yum!), and a big ol' glass of OJ. Yum!!

Runner up would probably be French toast with maple syrup and a big glass of skim milk.

But... most days I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Or the occasional kolache.

Ground hominy (a type of corn-sorta grain) cooked with milk, salt, and whatever else suits your fancy. It can be good and it can be library paste, depending on the preparation.

Ok, my favorite "once in a while" breakfast is, scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, and hashbrowns.

My normal every day breakfast is usually a bagal, or piece of toast and a cup of coffee.

Breakfast - yum! My favorite meal.

Ideally (and with no consideration for cholesterol, fat or calories) I would say that some fruit or juice, cereal and milk, bacon OR sausage omelette with cheese, English muffin OR bagel and pots and pots of coffee would make me happy.

And I could eat that at any time of day.

I am a bit of a dissadvantage since i cannot and will not eat egg.

I get some funny looks because of that

my mom is the same way. She buys all that "country folk art".
