How nice it is to have Lit friends who tell you about good things to cook for meals. Chicken spagattie is a win!!! Even better the next day. :)

Ewww, peas

Growing up we had a german shepherd that didn't like peas. Mom would mix up this big bowl of dog food and dinner scraps and she would eat everything but the peas. Dad didn't believe Mom so one night she counted them out, mixed up the dog's dinner, added some water to make it juicy and after the dog was done, Mom brought the bowl inside for Dad to count all the peas in the bottom of the bowl licked clean.

Smart dog!

Exactly, which is why the peas war will not be conducted there

But??? Would you eat Pease Porridge if you were ravenously hungry???

*I'll be honest and say that as much as I like peas I don't know if I could eat Pease porridge...lol....

Rotel + velveeta makes a good dip.
Rotel + velveeta + sausage makes an amazing dip.

I personally don't like adding sausage. It makes it greasy, and if you're leaving it out for a party the consistency gets really weird after a bit.

My favorite is Rotel + Velveeta + a bit of freshly chopped onion + a bit of freshly chopped jalapeno (because I like it spicy ;)), and melt them all together so the flavors cook in.
