What's Cookin'?

I made these cookies that were supposed to be the best chocolate chip cookies ever. It was a Korean cooking show and she used baking powder instead of baking soda. One bite and they went right into the trash. I’m going to make it again, but with baking soda this time.

Finally making Johnny D Francesco’s pizza dough. It’s risen for 2 hours and now time to make the pizza balls, let rise until double, then refrigerate overnight. It’s a long process for the dough, but homemade pizza dough is so good.

I just took a pressure cooker full of black beans off the stove.

I had a couple of quesadillas with brown rice and black beans for lunch. I'll do things like that for a few days, 'til they're gone.

I’m brining chicken to make an extra crispy fried chicken sandwich tomorrow. I’m going to use the Korean chicken flour so it stays really crunchy.

I’ve also been watching video’s on the Dubai chocolate bar, but I might try it with pecans. It depends if I can find some quality kataifi (not familiar with this) that isn’t from Amazon.

Filet Mignon in a burgundy marinade
Sauteed mushrooms
Zucchini noodles
Cauliflower and cheese mash

And for dessert a Banana Foster cheesecake I made.

Duck eggs. I’m not an adventurous eater and I’m a little weirded out thinking of eating these. Google assures me they taste the same as regular eggs, a little richer, but basically the same. Trusting google, what could go wrong?

I have been a slacker two days running now. Yesterday I babysat my oldest grands and we had pizza. Today Mr. had a taco craving and who am I to stand in his way? lol

How were they? I've never had duck eggs. Duck, yes, but no their eggs.

I couldn’t bring myself to eat them and they are now in the garbage. They were given to me so I didn’t waste any money, but I’m going to let more adventurous eaters try it out.

Duck eggs are fab, lovely creamy yolk, larger than hens eggs. Goose eggs are bigger and way more more creamy, if you can get them. Love your content btw.
Thank you for your input/review and for visiting my lil corner of Lit :) Now I'm wondering where I can find them in my area. Off to Google I go!
