What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

Make sure you post the final product!

The final result is already in my stomach. lol
But let me tell you this. I love potatoes but I swear I added them last while thinking about you. :D

Edit: Oups, apparently I did take one. I'm meddling with the phone tonight. Deleting pics and making space.

We had fish soup made with saithe, shrimp, mussels, saffron, white wine, celery, parsnip, carrots, leek and dill. It’s been way too long since I made it.

Clean-out-the-kitchen soup. Brats, taters, onions, celery, etc. Getting it all before it goes bad.

Tomato soup and pasta salad with marinated artichokes, olives, herbed goat cheese, and grilled chicken.

I have a jar of artichoke hearts in oil languishing in my pantry and I really need to do something low carb with it.

I made the fanned eggplant with tomatoey paste thing some time ago and posted about it here. Edit: here's the thing I meant.

I've since made it again but instead of tomatoes, bell peppers and such, I used artichoke hearts, almonds, arugula, lemon, onion, garlic and herbs for the paste/stuffing. It was very good. Just an idea, don't remember if you like eggplant or not. :)

I've tried.
I've sincerely tried.
For over 40 years.

I just can't.

:eek::(

It’s Diwali so I made chicken Biryani. I love Indian food. It didn’t turn out that well, though. My wife couldn’t even finish her portion.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

Yesterday:
Jerusalem artichoke soup with toasted sunflower seeds and ground black chanterelle.
Roast beef, carrots, candy cane beets, green beans, pepper sauce.
Yogurt with honey and cloudberries for dessert.

Today:
Leftover beef and veggies.
Bread rolls made with the leftover soup.

How does one make bread with soup?

Made me smile too. Think there is a comma missing 😁

I’d eat every morsel of Seela’s delicious cooking.

Couscous with pine nuts, dried cranberries, fresh mint and coriander.

Roasted pumpkin and red pepper soup here today.

No commas missing. I use the soup as the liquid instead of water. I do this with all sorts of vegetable soups and purées, turn the leftovers into bread.
