When you were at school....

How was your behaviour?
When I first started school, I was an introvert. I had been sick as a child and was only around family members. Plus I had a very severs speech impediment that I am still to this day somewhat self conscience about. In fact, I having difficulty pronouncing my own name. It's embarassing. After a while I came out of my shell, though it was easy for me to slip back into when I had to move or change schools.

Later I was just very easy going and yet not. Wanting to just melt into the background but always being a "leader".

Were you a member of any team or choir or orchestra?

I was squad captain in the marching band. Section leader in the orchestra and jazz band. I was also on the yearbook committee.

Did you cut class?

Hell yes. In fact, I played hookey all the time. For my chemistry class I went on Mondays and Fridays. Every Friday we took a test and Monday we got it back. The rest of the week I fucked off. I ad lots of friends who were hall monitors or works on the office and would scratch my name off of the absent list. HEEHEE...and I am now a chemist. :D

Did the teachers like you?

Yes and no. The Math teachers hated me. I guess it was my snoring in class that they didn't appreciate. My grammar, science, and music teachers LOVED me. They said I had a dry wit that was very mature. :D

Were you popular with fellow students?

Yes. I was the kid that had all kinds of friends. I had my geeky friends from my accelerated classes, my music friends from band and orchestra, my drug friends from partying on the weekends and my just friends friends that were fun to hang with when I got sick of everyone else.

Plus I never hesitate to stand up for any of my friends being bullied. Most of the time the bullies were someone that I knew and were actually afraid of me...yes afraid of me. Still don't get that one.

What kind of crowd did you hang out with?

See above. Plus, I had older siblings that were really popular. So there were alot of folks that wanted to be my "friend" cuz of that. I never really payed them too much mind, unless someone alot older than me wanted to kick my ass for being a smart ass and they would come to my rescue.

Did you snitch on people?

No. I even got suspended once for not narking on my friends.

Favourite subject?
Music. Science of all types. And art.

Worst subject?
Math. I just never could manage to stay awake. Even in college.

Any accolades, such as team captain, head boy, head girl?

Had many awards for highest grade in a subject for several subjects, many honors bands, lots of science fair awards, honor rolls, member of the National Junior Honor Society and member of the National Honor Society, made the fourth highest score in my HS for the national Math exam (the three others later became Rhodes Scholars), the next two years made the second highest score on the test...blah blah blah.

What kind of things did you do that you shouldn't have?
Pot. I was a pothead starting at the age of 12 and got away with it for years. I never was into alcohol. Till now.

Oh yeah...sex too. I was trying to prove to myself that I was "normal", so I kinda slept around with some guys.

At that age, what kind of person did you think you'd turn out to be?

Never knew. I used to lay awake at night wondering what my life would be like when I finally "grew up" or something. Funny thing is...I still lay awake at night wondering what my life will be like in the future...where I'm going and what I'll be doing.

Did you turn out to be that person?

Dunno. I guess I settled for something I wanted, while wanting something else. I wish I had had the courage to go for my dreams and not settle for the "safe" thing.

If you could go back and do it all again, would you?

Hell fucking yes!!!!
