If ya take a look around (after halloween that is) you'll find a lot of people use their actual pics for AVs. Other than that I don't really know.

If either one of you (you mentioned your wife posts using that name as well) find an pic you want for an av and you need it re-sized (they can only be 150x150 pixels) there are plenty of people around here who will help you re-size it. Happy posting.
