Show me one proven instance where an aborted foetus of less than 16weeks old was able to survive outside the womb, and then I might answer your stupid question.

Question for Planned Parenthood official: What should happen to a baby born alive after a botched abortion?
Via John McCormack at the Weekly Standard, some words of wisdom from the Kermit Gosnell school of “women’s health.” Say this much for her: As monstrous as this is, at least she’s consistent. It’s a strange mindset that would suddenly demand that a doctor rescue a baby in peril after giving him the green light to kill it in the womb 10 minutes earlier. The only situation I can think of where someone’s typically asked to switch from assailant to savior in the blink of an eye is when cops or soldiers wound an armed enemy in the course of defending themselves. In all other cases, a person who’s made the decision to kill will, if left uninterrupted, tend to finish the job. Pro-lifers have always argued that it’s silly and arbitrary to make birth (or viability) some key threshold for personhood. In her own ominous way, she’s agreeing with that. If a mother and her doctor have decided to kill, why stop at accidental birth? Why not let them finish the job? Free Gosnell!
As a practical matter, even if Florida’s law requiring rescue is enacted, how many abortionists do you suppose would actually follow it in the privacy of the “exam room” in cases of accidental birth?

I have to agree with WQ on this one. She asked for proof of a foetus under 16 week's surviving out of the womb, you didn't.
Here in Australia the limit is 12 weeks. No foetus is going to come out alive. The idea of aborting at 24 weeks is disgusting. Pushing that limit to 30 weeks is abhorrent! The guy should get serious time for that. Babies born at 30 weeks have good chances for survival under the right conditions. Even 24 weeks is far enough for a baby to survive.
When I was 19 I had an abortion at 10 weeks and felt bad enough about that, though I made the decision as soon as I knew I was pregnant. I can't imagine getting to over half way through a healthy pregnancy and suddenly choosing to terminate. That's disgusting.
My son was born at 34 weeks, and though he had a rough first 12 months he has thrived and is now a perfectly healthy boy.
That story and this thread has gotten right under my skin.

In the UK the limit is 24 weeks. All I will say is I felt my babies kick at 20 weeks so I cannot begin to imagine the trauma of an abortion at that late stage. No more than that.

I watched a documentary on abortions in the UK and there is quite a bit of controversy around allowing the limit to be so far along.
