What pissed you off today? Mark III

This headache that didn't seem to go away. Thankfully after I ate, I started to feel a little better. Believe it's from this heat.

White women's fascination with spirit animals! Holy shit, do you know how much teachings you must go through to even find out what yours is?

Stop taking Indigenous culture, and that includes burning white sage!

In no way am I telling you what to do or giving medical advice. When I stopped eating sugar and processed foods, my headaches disappeared. And I used to get headaches almost daily.

And yes, I upped my water intake.

I accidentally reset my outlook settings and now I can’t get it back to how it was. Naturally I don’t remember exactly how it was, but I do know how it is now, even after my tweaks, feels and looks very wrong. 🤷🏻*♀️

Any outlook pointers? I am trying to set my outlook up to help me manage work, school, and family life.

It being 86 degrees in my windowless airflow-less office all afternoon.. so miserably hot :(

I dunno, I’m so clumsy these days. I dropped the rice cooker pan full of rice and water.:mad: I’m going to be finding rice for years…

I’m so far from an Outlook genius, I’m afraid.

I only use it for work. I have a ton of folders where I’ve directed emails automatically, that helps manage things a little better. I also have basic templates for emails so that I don’t have to write everything from scratch every time, because in my job certain things repeat for each project.

I think it’s calendar that’s the most important bit for managing and balancing time. Use color coding is my best tip I suppose, that can help a lot with making sense of a hectic schedule. Schedule in lunch breaks and free time too, if it helps you. Attachments to each appointment are handy so that you don’t have to dig through your email to remember what it was about exactly if you need to find some info about the appointment.

Oh this sucks. I’ve done this myself with couscous.

Yes. I am working at the scheduling and blocking time. The color coding is working pretty well.

I realize how I have only scratched the surface of what can be done. I am looking to YouTube for a deep dive into the possibilities.

Yeah, there is a lot more to Outlook than most people realize. Not many people need all the bells and whistles, though. I had a job where I got tons of email, and I really mean so much of it, and it was super important to stay organized and on top of everything. Back then the automatic redirection of things to separate folders was a life saver. But even then I didn’t need that many fancy things to get my job done.

The fall garden is in full swing but something is eating my garden. I am at war with an unknown pest and it has no idea how angry I am about my kale!

I still haven’t figured out how to put a signature to my emails or set up away messages

Oh this sucks. I’ve done this myself with couscous.

This pales in comparison to the time my ex dropped a full can of Ready Whip in her mother's kitchen. The valve broke off, and that that little sucker jetted around for nearly a minute, spraying sticky goodness every where it went. All the while, 3 grown women were trying to trap it; I turned and walked out. :D

Today was a chug two glasses of wine after work day while scarfing down cold left over pizza while laying in bed wearing your pajamas. If I would have been 10 years younger I would probably have chucked my phone at the wall of my office but instead I just ranted loudly to anyone that would listen.

I got that one down. I even managed to add our logo to my signature last week after having it for 6 months or so. The light bulb finally went off!

Open a new email and then find signatures on your ribbon. Click on that and start creating. Don't forget to save it when you're done. :D.

I’m gonna do it! And it’s going to be fancy AF

The I.R.S.

We've been waiting for an almost $4K refund from the IRS. I contacted them about a month ago, and they said, yes, my refund was still in the works. Please be patient as the pandemic and allowing IRS personnel to work from home had created a huge backlog in getting refunds back to 35 million US taxpayers.
Today I received a letter from the US Treasury informing me that they had reduced my refund by $1200 and if I didn't protest, it would be coming in another 4 to 6 weeks. Wonderful.
Oh, they also added, that they were paying me a whopping $30 in interest on my refund, but please add that to my current year's income when filing next year, Ha.
It would have been a nice touch if they'd included a tube of Vaseline in the letter.

Not so much pissed as just sad and disappointed that once again perverted PMs have destroyed open discussion in one of the few places we are supposed to be able to. Even when the discussion is about a topic I don't share an interest in and couldn't contribute to, it still wounds something in me to see freedom and openness ripped asunder. And I feel we are all the poorer for it.
