How does a post like that stay up for over 12 hours??![]()
...because you can't be everywhere and others were supposed to look after it.
Supremely unforgivable stuff, and looking at the comments in the thread it has been reported several times. It’s been viewed nearly 400 times…
My curiosity caused me to go check if the one I am 99% sure you meant was still there. And it was.
I almost went off and showed my asshole in a major way before I caught myself and remembered "TBH" is shorthand for "To Be Honest" rather than a mistype of a certain beloved moderator's affectionate nickname.
Thankfully, I caught it in time before posting a seven-paragraph diatribe boiling down to "she is ours, damn it, and you can't haz her" and challenging for an apology.
(And, yeah, it may be time to give in and get my glasses with the vertical crack down the middel replaced)

A question: I saw the post that I think you are talking about and was thinking about posting to ask them to change it. Do you want us to do that?
Also, I clicked the report button and saw this: ” This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.”
The post I saw did not fit those categories mentioned but was definitely against the rules. I’m guessing that it is a standard text with vBulletin, but it might keep people from reporting when they perhaps should and report general rudeness when they shouldn’t.

You can copy the link to the thread/post and send it in PM to Laurel.
FWIW, I always report threads/posts that are against the rules using the button regardless of what the text says. At least so far TPH or any other mod haven't sent me angry messages because of it.
I want to say "thank you" but all that comes to mind is "what took them so fucking long?"

Yeah, there is a lot more to Outlook than most people realize. Not many people need all the bells and whistles, though.
And to be on-topic - it pisses me off when our IT department spends time adding a new software for people to use that allows stuff that you can actually just do in Outlook and coworkers are like:"Awesome, thank you" and I'm just like:"Maybe IT department should have spent the time teaching people how to use the existing tools."
Don’t say ”Oh great, more tools. Just what this organization needs!”.
Not everyone will take kindly to it.
Way too late for this.

Because of where I work, we don't have any of the normal office tools. Well, we do, but they've all been customized (ie. stripped down of most bells and whistles) because we can't have anything cloud based and we have to jump through hoops and/or borrow a special laptop to use things like Teams or Zoom.
Yet, every single "learn how to use XYZ efficiently" type video tutorial we have, has been made using regular software and they're not very useful to us. It's so annoying to see on those videos how easy it would be to do certain things using certain features of the tools we have, only to find that those features have been disabled.![]()
