Tomorrow, when the kidlet has his last big op, I will be a little afraid. But I have enough faith in his excellent surgeon that my fear is more about the unknown possible side-effects, not the surgery itself.
Best wishes, good luck, best of health, may the surgeon have a steady hand etc for the best outcome for your child.
The waiting is the hardest IMO till you see your loved one's smile again and to know they are hopefully on their way to recovery and better health.
What makes me nervous?
I consider myself to be a people person. I love interacting with people but for the most part I am extremely shy and do not like people in my personal space. (Unless they are loved ones or close friends.)
I don't like stick insects

or wetas.

They freak me right out.
I also freak out about heights and closed spaces.
So, if you are a stranger with a stick insect on an elevator and throw a weta at me and try to embrace me? I might wee myself.
But I cope well in an emergency and fall apart later.
