What makes you like someone? Dislike someone?

Is it their posting style? All caps, no caps, too many misspellings, using numbers in place of certain letters, using eubonics as a standard of English?

Is it their religious/policital/socioeconomic belief systems? Christian, pagan, athiest, muslin, hindu? Democrat, Taliban fundamentalist, Labour party secretary? Capitilists, warmongerers, communists?

Is it their BB affiliaitions? I like so and so cause so and so is on Cool Person A's list. I can't stand so and so cause so and so in on Cool Person B's list.

Is it their general attitude? Arrogance, condescension, revolting theories, shit-stirring?

Or is it something else that I haven't quanitified?

Most of these people we've never met. Some of these people present themselves as someone other than who they really are. Some are liars, some are honest, some are just here to be here.

Good question...

I'd say for me it's posting style...I tend to not go into a thread if I know it's someone who is generally just stirring up shit so to speak.

I like fun and frivilous. I also like to read those who debate topics...I find it interesting although, I usually don't participate in debates. To me someone who debates is different than someone who is just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Misspellings or grammatical errors don't bother me.

So anyway,
I would like to just say that I tend to like someone more if they can take jokes well, if they are light hearted, but all the same, I really don't focus on 'connecting' with people who are like that but show very little substance. I have nothing against them of course, and I'll even joke with them, I am just drawn to creative minds. If PC adn EBW weren't as creative and interesting as they are, I, for example, wouldn't have bothered putting in my little rolleyes smilie in, up there, pertaining to their moronic responses to this serious question. I wouldn't have because I wouldn't feel that I connected with them and that I could possibly be a shallow as them, if that is how they really think.

I guess I tend to stay away from the commies here on the BB, but she keeps talking to me and I can't be rude and tell her to fuck off.

I also pretty much hate the democrates, and republicans, just because they occupy so much "me" space here at lit. How fucking selfish is it to just sit around aruging about what their side wants, and what the other side is doing wrong? Get over yourselves.
I am not joking with this one.

Don't get me wrong though. I can name many good qualities about these individuals, but I find the politics to be unbearably monotonous. I refuse to be a part of anything that is in favor of or against the democraps or repoopilcans.
