Had a conversation in which a sweet VERY vanilla friend of mine kept saying "Shibari" instead of "Shibori" - I finally asked her exactly what she was talking about and she replied "You know. The Japanese way of dying cloth. Shibari! I'm going to talk to hubby about getting some shibari scarves because they're so pretty."

"Hun, you .. hmm. okay... so you realize that ShibARi is a Japanese style of erotic bondage and ShibORi is the description of the cloth dying you gave me, right?"

I have a little phrase book and found under the dating section a phrase that seems kind of odd. I'm not sure "I'm rich and single" is a pickup line that works. ;; It made me laugh though, so maybe it could work.

It's probably more successful than ' I am rich but I am married'.

Probably. It's just a phrase that I think would make me run away very quickly. Unless it was delivered in a way that was funny? I dunno, leading with "I'm rich" is silly to me. "Good job, you make money. Here's your special achievement cookie."

At an unfamiliar supermarket, I went to wash my hands in the restroom. I was initially confused because, instead of sinks, there were just recesses in the wall.

As I put my hands in, it automatically jetted soap at me, then running water, and then hot air to dry.
