What kinds of thread 'don't' you go to?

Recently? Ever? Why?

Answer to my own question: I don't have - or want to spend - the time. No slight or insult intended.

I'm here for me and 'my' fun.

I do check out a very few 'long time members' threads - 'fairly regularly, but not always.' And if - 'somebody relatively new (a new member) to me,' has some sort of interesting title or I see that the number of views and responses is pretty big' - I 'might' check it out. Maybe.

But pretty much I'm here on a 'fishing expedition' - I pen a thread and see who, or if anyone bites. And I treat it just like fishing too. If I get a good bite and the fish likes to/wants to escape and fight and twist things around - great - that's what I'm after. If not - I cut bate and leave.

For me - it's that simple.

I don't do......

Birthday threads, hurray threads of any kind, I'm sad/help me threads, any game threads, or most political threads from those with a narrow, over focused agenda - contrary to mine. Which, contrary to what many of my may think - is only to have fun.

'My' fun that is.

Yes, I am rather apolitical. I'm mostly agnostic. I realy have no agenda other than to point out to nearly everyone that - if they do have an agenda or agendas, or beliefs - that govern their lives - well - they're morons.

How about you? What threads 'don't' you look at.

I know, I know - Sparky threads.

I stay out of political threads. I have very strong political beliefs, and in a posting environment such as this, where we only know most people by their words, it is too easy to fall into the trap of unfairly judging people based on their views. I have other venues where I do engage in political debate, but I prefer to keep that segregated from what I read and write here.

i never go to threads with too many posts unless i saw the beginning and want to see how the debate is going
there are one or two people i always avoid
fortunately for me they dont post here that often any more
sparkys threads are always entertaining and i always read if not always post on them

Or alternately, I will only start threads strictly to entice alexandraaah in.

Are there any other reasons?
