Peeps

Peeps,

These little marshmellow ballows of sugar fluff provide the greatest form of entertainment. Every year people get into contests to see who can eat the most without throwing up. I watch these idiots, (I call them idiots even though some of them are my friends) scarf down as many as they can. Usually the winner eats about 8 boxes. Could you imagine the sugar rush, I am not diabetic but I bet all that glucose would kill me, which is pretty much why most people throw up.

Cadbury Creme eggs, marshmellow peeps, Lindt truffle eggs..mmmm...I LOVE Easter :)

Jelly Beans, especially the red ones.
Cherry or cinnamon.

When I get sick of all the sugar, I just peel & salt an Easter egg.:)
The chocolate-covered peanutbutter eggs are great, too.

I think all my favorites come in the same shape :D

cadbury cream eggs by far.. but also peeps and those stupid hard shelled fruit flavored eggs with marshmellow in the middle

Sorry, I'll be hijacking this thread momentarily. :)

The only time I ever make deviled eggs is at Easter. And usually, Easter is spent at my inlaws' house, which is a completely new level of boring...

So last Easter, to avoid eating at Old Country Buffet, I offered to make Easter dinner. The works... great dinner... perfect ham... and surrounding the ham were the prettiest green deviled eggs you ever saw. :) The kids were endlessly amused and I grossed out the inlaws. It was a great day. :D

Ok, back to discussing candy.

Love the Cadbery Carmel Eggs

Yummmmmm they are so good ...just plant them babies to my ass now ...thats where they are going ..LMAO!:)

especially stale peeps.

Hey at least someone else besides me knows the right way to eat these things ...... Leave them on top of the fridge opened for about 4 months, them's be some good eatin then

mmmmmmmm easter candy

I voted for marshmallow or coconut eggs. But as I live here, Laura Secord makes these wonderful nutty-creme filled eggs too. They are divine.
And I love homemade easter baskets made from rice krispie square stuff filled with dyed coconut and jellybeans....yes, i am the holiday queen!!

I like jellybeans but SOUR jelly beans.

I tried Smuckers Puckers and Brach's Sour Spots Bird Eggs but neither is sour enough. I want like Warheads sour with jelly bean sweet inside.

Is there....

a pic of the Cadbury bunny anywhere selling those yummy
creme eggs? :)

I voted Cadbury Creme Eggs.

I like to bite off the top of the egg, lick out the cream, then suck the rest of the egg 'til it's gone.

Yummy :)
My vote too, but I'd be more than happy to give mine to you just to watch that tongue action.

*is it getting hot in here with all this chocolate melting, or
is it just me? * :D

I had a gut feeling it was something like pecans in there,
considering its from New Orleans! :)

Sounds yum yum!

I voted for the Cadbury Eggs, but it's really a tie between those and homemade peanut butter eggs. . .Mmmm, delicious!

I loved when Cadbury came out with the chocolate creme

Actually, my fav's are the bubble gum eggs... and the Cadbury Cream Eggs aren't as good as they used to be. They're not as creamy anymore.
