What is your best excuse when you call in sick?

I just say a family member is ill and that I'm gonna take them to the doctor and watch over them. Has always worked for me.

LOL--there are some good ones in there.

The problem with any of the "doctor ones" is that I work in a doctor's office. I was told by the sup that I had to talk to the doctor and get her to write me an excuse and give it to her this afternoon or else I would not be paid for the day.

I hate working for people who never show up (and it is unnanounced) and then they demand such stupidity from their subjects. ick!
