What I don't understand about guys on Lit

It's my first time on this forum (I typically only come for the stories but since I finally posted something I've been looking through the forums a lot) and this is the first time I've heard this site was mostly men. Is that true? I always assumed there would be a majority of women on literotica, or is this just talking about the forums? Sorry, I'm just very curious.

I'd like to see data on that. But since apparently everyone isn't honest about what sex they are, nor their gender, the data would be flawed. But I'm thinking most people on Lit are telling the truth about what sex they are?? Even if they might be making up other stuff??

Yes, correct, in a nutshell.

I believe there once was a woman who visited Lit. for an afternoon, in the mistaken belief that it was just a site for friendly chatting... but then quickly got disillusioned when all of the "women" she approached for a chat confessed that they were actually Johns in frocks... and would she be their sex partner?

Needless to say, she was unimpressed by their more than somewhat insecure sexuality and left for somewhere much more likely to produce a genuine female... an uninhabited island, I'm told it was...

I constantly see guys putting ads on Lit. Sometimes the same guy putting up ad after ad. Or various guys putting up ads seeking women.

Here is what I don't understand. If you are a guy looking for a woman why go to a site where the men outnumber the women 100 to 1? You should be going to sites where there are a ton of women, not some site where it's all guys jerking themselves off. Really? This is how you are going to find a woman??

The reason guys post on Lit forums here. You literally wrote your own post on the Literotica Personals section. Which subheader is “Meet other Literotica users for friendship or more!” Yet, you’re somehow surprised people are writing ‘personal’ ads?

Posting requesting if someone would be interested in chatting privately about sexual/non-sexual materials is respecting consent. It’s a lot better option than randomly DMing women. It would also be rude to DM women on other sites that aren’t sexually themed about sexual topics. At least here everyone has a basic idea of what to expect and at least 18+.

Some people aren’t trying to find a woman for real meets. Some are just looking for more of a pal, basically. A safe environment with low judgment to talk and express shared ideas.

If that’s not what you're looking for. That’s fine but don't stand in judgment of what other consenting adults are doing.

I just find it strange that whenever I post a pic of my girlfriend, most guys can't comprehend how that happened or how to make it happen for themselves. Well, it didn't happen by posting ads on Lit that's for sure.

Sounds like someone is just looking for validation from other men while complaining there are only men on here, which is absolutely untrue. The fact of the matter is most men are incapable of meeting the needs of intelligent women who see through the BS.
