My partner is a cross dressing male so today I bought her a white blouse and tartan short skirt. With black fishnets and red panties she should look for very sexy.

What have you bought your partner?

My SO loves egypt. So i bought her a calander that's all about egypt. I bought her two christmas ornaments, a stuft bear holding a rose, and a card that was very sweet and lovey-dovey... she almost cried.... those are what she already has. (Our 'friends' christmas party was last weekend, so we exchanged gifts then....)

what she doesn't have yet is a painting i'm almost done with.... we have a long history or role-playing and such so i desided to paint her favorite made up character in her favorite setting with a representation of me :) Aka i painted a girl asleep on a balcony in the moonlight in egypt with a cat sitting on the rail next to her.... that description doesn't do it justice but hey....

she bought me a moon windchime 2 calanders of furry critters, a bell, an earing box, and she made me a scrapbook of why she loves me.... i almost cried... it's gorgeous... she even wrote me poems in it :)

I'm so jealous.... I'd LOVE that outfit. I wish my wife would buy me something like that.

It feels good to be giving this gift as I know it will be appreciated. My ex husband was such a dull sort he never got excited over anything or found what was wrong with it....

Sounds like lovely gifts for people you love. The painting is a wonderful idea.
yeah i had fun with this.... while i'm not posting my actual painting (i consider that personal) here's a pic of the other thing i'm not quite done with yet..... sorry about the horrible quality it's late and i don't know where the good digital camera is so i had to use the crappy $10 one  the colors are a little messed up... her wings are a combination of rose, coral, lavander and a hint of royal purple....

it always does.... :) the look i expect on my koi's face when i hand her the painting will make me so happy.... she understands when i take my time on something like this it means i put my heart into it.... and boy is my heart into it.....

i hate when people pull this... those are the kind of people i buy stupid presents for....

My wife's favorite thing in the world is perfume, more than any other hobby or anything. She usually says not to buy her actual perfume, because I won't know what kind to get, but this year she had L'Occitane green tea and mint perfume on her wishlist so I got that. I also got her a couple of vintage fragrance lockets, both with their original scents. One is a leaf-shaped pin and the other is a round necklace with a painting engraved on it. And finally, I got her a book about sex and scent - how we view scent from an erotic perspective. That was on her wishlist too, and I sure didn't want anybody else getting that for her!

*giggles* I can see where that would be an uncomfortable moment there, Etoile, if someone had bought her that instead. I used to love perfume bottles as a child. Something about the cut of the glass drew me. My allergies don't allow for perfumes, so I'd happily go and buy the most unusual empty perfume bottles I could find.

The painting is lovely! I only wish I could see it better. She's going to LOVE it! Homemade gifts are the best kinds. My grandmother was so artsy and my grandfather is a carpenter. So I'd get crocheted gifts and gifts they made me among the storebought toys. One of my favorites was a cradle for my baby dolls.

*sighs* Watching all of this plotting for sweetheart's Christmases makes me wish I had someone to spoil this year. That's the fun part for me..buying for someone and the anticipation to see what their reaction is when they open it. It'd be wonderful to have someone to cuddle next to the Christmas tree with.

I bought her a horse. A perfect 4 year old grey thoroughbred. I am having him delivered to my farm on Christmas Eve and put into a stall wrapped with red ribbons.

She is going to scream.

I would definitely scream, and then faint.

The stall is wrapped in ribbons, or the horse?

Crap ... all I got my partner was a <edited because she sometimes reads the boards> and a <also edited to keep the surprise alive>. I suppose I'll never be able to keep up with the kbates. ;)

Real version of painting

Here is the real version of my painting :) It's name is "birth of wings" i got the real camera during today and used it.... it's still slightly bright but it's a lot better than before! and the colors are actually visable! note though i'm still not quite done with it.... i want to try to add some dried leaves and make the trees look a bit more mossy....

but yeah that's how i paint..... in all honesty this was inspired by a rough spot my girl about me going to college and her still in high school... i was hurting and it made me realize that going to college and her hurting me was the painful birth of my wings instread of the joyus occasion it should be.... (no i don't look like that) don't worry we got over it and are happy ;)

Angelkitty, love the painting, the significance of getting your wings is also very beautiful.

I myself love to wear Obsession my SO buys me a bottle every year.

I have bougth her a ameythsyt 9 string choker that looks so fab, and the best that Hotel Chocolat can offer. Aide from the usual books dvds etc.

kbate, as someone who keeps horses I am so jealous  I would love another horse but will have to wait for the spring sales, if finances allow.

Both. One ribbon in his forelock and the stall doors wrapped with a big red ribbon with a bow wreath. It will be perfect - if only my 'delivery service' gets it right.

kbate, it would be lovely to see a picture of the ribboned horse, will you be plaitting the mane & tail dressage style?

I think your SO is the luckiest person in the world, and hope she gets the pleasure and freedom I get from riding :)

This time of year sucks. So many couple activities. I just wish I could curl up somewhere and hit the fast forward button to past February.

I have given him the opportunity to win my heart again.

He has given me a laptop, more Vera Wang Princess and Estee Lauder Beautiful, an IPOD....

Christmas morning I will probably get something from Godiva and something from Tiffany's...

More important than the material...the greatest gift would be for him to come through on his promises to change and for us to be able to save our marriage.

Welll it is just before midnight.... Christmas Eve is all but over. My lover came over and he looked ever so sexy in the outfit I gave him. He has left me a present here but I am not allowed to open it till Christmas morning in a few hours. It can not be the XXX as he said it was ok to open it in front of the kids. :)

Merry Christmas everyone. :rose:

They say it's better to give than to receive. But once in a while it's also nice to receive especially when it's from the heart of the one most important person in your life.

I gave my husband the usual shopping basket of all his men's favorites of boxers, colognes, DVDs, sporting things and auto accessories, all here waiting for him under the tree. Unfortunately this year he had to be away in Mexico as his work & business often requires him to travel. It's our livelihood. One of us had to stay home and take care of the fort and the animals.

Although, I think He gave me the best one, though. His phone call telling me how much he loves and misses me, wishes for my birthday (21st), and that Santa Baby will be home very soon. Keep the firelplace going and the bed warm...

Oh, the drama...
