What grinds your gears while driving?

For me it's the people out there with their LED head lights on bright like little miniature suns right about sun set. Blinding and just absolutely dangerous especially when it gets dark.

Coming at you head on bright as the sun then your eyes have to readjust before you can see again. I have thought about getting reflecting tape and putting it on certain spots of my car to reflect the brightness back at them. Instead I have gotten rather good at using my mirrors, adjusting them to what I call asshole mode.

What grinds your gears?

People darting lanes back and forth, like they're in a bloody race, barely missing my front or back bumper. (while I'm driving the speed limit or 5 mph faster)
I'm guilty of that. I am speeder for sure if I'm on the highway, I'm going 85-90. I do make sure I atleast see pavement between the car behind me and myself before I change lanes though.

  1. People passing in front of you simply because there is space for them to fit, and it may look like they'd be 5 feet further forward from the lane they were previously in. (super common in Texas)
  2. People messing with their phones instead of focusing on driving.
  3. Morons with their stereos at full volume.
  4. Old people driving MUCH slower that the seed limit (I try to be sympathetic, but...)
  5. People sitting in the right lane at a stop light, and then not turning till the light is green.

I had to be in California a couple years ago. Driving from the airport in Ontario some fuck tried to ram past me and I was driving a large SUV. Sped up just enough to tap his rear bumper and his shit went right into the divider.

I kept going and the minor ding on the SUV bumper was covered by the add-on insurance.

The driver of the other car? Fuck him.

People who see the construction saying their lane is closing but they just jam on at speed then want to push into the through lane and everyone gets to play stop and go because of these f*tards.

The necessity of spending so much time on the road in cars, especially when I am sharing the road with semi-competent drivers. Driving was first a novelty, then luxury, then convenience, and now it's a necessity for many people in suburbia.

As time has passed I am less tolerant of other people on the road when I am.🤣.

Can’t they all wait until I’m at my destination?’

Know one seems to be mind readers and do what I want them to be doing. They would fail if they attended my driving school!
🤣🤣
