I know this thread should be in the General Board forum but the trolls there would have a field day with it and preclude any definitive answers.
I don't have any on my list but Sandra has over thirty. Seems guys send cold PMs like: "Your username intrigues me. I'm 27 and have an 8" cock. Wanna chat?"
So, anyway, we did an experiment today. She put my username on her ignore list (no wisecracks, I know all women have an ignore-switch in their head they flip as it suits them). Anyway, then I sent a PM. We expected a rejection or some system response so the sender knows the futility of future PMs. Nope, the message went into the big spam bucket in the ether-world. She didn't get it; as the sender, I didn't know. Other forum sites (well, one I know) tells the sender that the message can't be delivered. And a long time ago (mid-90s) I was on a sports related forum where users on your ignore list could not post on any thread you started (I liked that).
What good are the lists then? I know PennLady said why bother, they never send a second PM if the first gets no response. I'm not so sure.
