When you say "our government" which government are you talking about? And were you under the impression that the government is the property of the little people? I don't think that the ruling class thinks they are yours. They know that YOU are THEIR subjects. But they do a good job of making you think otherwise.

But as far as the earth goes, there is no doubt about it... the earth is infested with plastic addicted people. If you are one of them then don't expect that a government rule can clean up the earth that almost everyone is polluting. Even the guy who invented the internet. What was his name again? Oh yea, All Gore.

According to some people on this board, we are supposed to LIKE it because, you know, the alternative is socialism- or something. I don't know.

Common sense is, its utterly diabolical and why more people (even die hard conservatives) aren't protesting this shit, is beyond me. Well, maybe not, because they have been spoon fed the idea that any sort of protection- consumer or environmental- is equal to Venezuelan style socialism and they aren't smart enough (sorry but it true) to think objectively.
