I need a relationship that is authentically organic.
What I mean by that is a relationship based on a soulful level of honesty that ebbs and flows with those involved.
I need a relationship where I’m free to simply be myself in my intricacies and complexities. I need a relationship where my partner is free to be the same. Where we can bare ourselves in all ways and see the other for everything that we are.
I need a relationship where I can grow as the course of my life dictates. Whether I’m strong or weak, calm or raging, optimistic or taken by darkness...I am free to ebb and flow knowing my partner sees me, understands me, and responds to me. And I need a relationship where I can respond to them in the intense manner of love, care, and devotion that I feel drawn to give.
I need a lover, a protector, a playmate, a soulmate...just as I need to be all those in return.

In my heart, I believe that all of this exists for other people, but not for me. I believe I will never have another relationship. And that’s just a genuine thought, not me being low, or depressed or anything - it’s my honest belief.

However, I also look for the things you listed in friendship. I think every connection is a relationship of sorts, whether that’s friends, family, colleagues, client-business etc. I’m pretty much on my own in terms of family, but with friends I definitely want to feel understood, trusted, be real etc. All except the physical of course! I don’t play with friends
