Awwww thanks so much! I never realized or dreamed how many posts I'd get for the very first thread I started ever!! LOL But I love it that it has helped some gals feel better, some guys come out of hiding, and hopefully some romances sparked.

well... i was reading this thread cause I am going to need the confidence boost for today. I consider myself a BBW, and most of the time I am pretty cool about it. But today, is a family shindig where I am always compared to my cousin. She is about four inches shorter than me putting her at about 5'4" and I prolly outweigh her by close to a hundred pounds. She is the blonde, blue-eyed porcelain doll, whereas they see me as the large, dark haired, dark-eyed one. I think I am curvy where a woman needs to be and i dont look like i am going to collapse at any moment. I always get the following tho, "isnt it a pity that she doesnt lose some weight? she would be soooooo pretty if she would!!!" GRRR!!!

yep, this is going to be my day folks!!! I just hate having to put up with my own freaking family downing me and wished it wasnt an obligation that i was forced to attend. Lord give me strength, if not maybe i can find it in the rum bottle? lol

First of all, BBW's are not full of themselves. Women who are thin or athletic, tend to judge people who are overweight. They also are all about them and their "hot" bodies. Of course not ALL women are like that but a lot of them are. And then they tend to right off guys who are not hunks.
I am not a skinny guy. I am 210 at 5'10 and been told I was fat by those type if women. I have not always been this way. For 35 yrs of my life I was only 140-160. Then things changed. Never wanted to be this big. I did get all the way up to 250 and have been working back down but I am doing that for health not hotness.
BBWs are more loving, giving, caring and passionate. Once they get past the feeling that no one desires them and then realize there are men out there that love BBWS, then their self confidence is there and yes they can be very sexy and very sensual. I would rather have a BBW then a skinny model any day.
Besides it is not the size of the body that matters, it is the person inside that body. I have found women that are BBWs have a bigger heart and care more and are more affectionate.

Yep, and i might be one of the few to say this but perky tits are nice but I love a largevfull looking pair with a bit of sag to them (i know that word makes it sound bad but im not shur how else to put it, mabie hang?) makes em look real and makes me want to put my hands allover em.

You are not the only one.....my bf loves them too. He calls them hangers, because when a woman bends forward or over they naturally hang down. And they have the same effect on him that they do on you. And that is a great thing,.......because not all of us ladies, either due to size, genetics, having children or age can have perky tight breasts.

I went through the same stuff at the hands of my dad and his "well meaning" sister. I look back at pics of me now at the age of 12, and I see a tall fairly lanky kid growing in to her boobs and hips. They saw a kid who was chubby. I now realize that is there problem, not mine.

And my poor mom had gained alot of weight too as she got older. Due to 3 pregnancies, steroid use for a long term immune disease.....and well emotional eating to deal with my dad never being around, or treating her shitty because she was over weight.

I hope that some day I can blow raspberries in my family's face too! I love my dad, but he still has an issue with my weight. I try not to let it bug me, but since my bf has started to have an issue with my weight it has just magnified things. Now that dad knows it is an issue......I am sure he feels justified. (HA!, whatever is what I say)

I figure some day I will have total peace about who I am, just an ongoing process for now.

Sassylilthang, I know how you feel. I have been wandering through photos from high school and college lately and with it came the wondering what happened to that beautiful (inside and out) girl. Then I had to remind myself that after three pregnancies, one child, a hysterectomy, and now add onto that pre-menapause junk and medication... I am still the same person inside that girl was and just need to remind myself that I am still as beautiful and desirable even if the outside has changed a bit.

Aside from the obvious physical qualities of a BBW... there is the inside part as well. As mentioned a few times I am sure is the fact that a BBW is less likely to cheat on you.
A BBW is likely to be more submissive true but she also knows what she wants in the event she isnt.
A BBW is more likely to give you want/need you want in and out of bed.
A BBW is less likely to be stuck on themselves.
A BBW is more accepting.

The list goes on from there.
