I think it's

Punani
and i don't know exactly what it means but the comedian Ali-G uses it alot and it's kind of his catch phrase.

He is Asian brought up in england.

What's the proper spelling of punany? What does it mean, and in which country did this word come from?

I wasn't willing to pay to register for webster online so I couldnt find out the origin but the probper spelling is PUNANI. I think it comes from good old american eubonics.

Unfortunatly I have never heard of "CODE BROWN" being anything other than someone shitting themselves. My last neighbor worked in an old folks home and she liked to cross the sharing boundry when she talked about work.

I belive Punani means pussy...

Tupac used it in the movie Poetic Justice...

I have heard the same thing, JasonBe. I think it is Spanish, but I am not sure about that.

Great thread by the way, I am glad I made it past the Dirty Sanchez stuff, because the shocker stuff was hilarious. I have heard of a shocker before, but some of the other terms for it I have not. Great Work.

Both are "club drugs" but are different compounds with somewhat different effects.

GHB = Gamma-hydroxybutyrate
sometimes known as liquid ecstasy, but not the same as ecstasy
One of the "date-rape" drugs
nervous system depressant, sedative
bad to mix with other depressants or alcohol (a depressant)
also releases growth hormone (for body builders)
virtually undetectable in water by taste alone

MDMA = 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine
=Ecstasy
mind altering, amphetamine-like
usually white powder or tablets

Here's a fact sheet

Thanks PinkOrchid, very informative, I was wondering about those two drugs too. And I will be damned, I didn't know the internet had more then porn on it, lol.

Slightly Offensive Question:

After reading many of threads concerning homosexual issues, I was wondering: When did the words faggot, queer, and gay become homosexual slurs?

Both queer and gay started being used as slang for homosexuals in America around the 1920's. Faggot was term coined in Great Britain. Originally faggot was a term for a bundle of sticks used as fire wood. Later when people started smoking cigarettes they made used it as slang for those. Then eventually some people started feeling that smoking was something for effeminate and that any man who smoked cigarettes must be a homosexual so they became known as faggots

Faggots associated with smoking?! Man, the things you can learn around here!

Ick...even knowing what the connection is doesn't stop the word "faggot" from sounding so harsh...:(

If you think THAT'S harsh…

Slightly more offensive question:

When I was younger, my parents told me that the word nigger was an offensive slur. But now rappers have tried to turn it into a term of endearment. How was this word created? Was it a mispronounciation of the word negro which also means Black?

I have to go to work but i did find a good and very well researched sight on this subject.

have a good day all

All right; slightly LESS offensive question!

I'm watching "Trading Places" on DVD (a classic movie from the non-politically correct years!) and I put on the closed-captioning to catch certain lines. Needless to say, I am PISSED that I heard one line wrong after all these years! It takes place at the end of the movie when Louis and Billy-Ray are in the Stock Exchange.

Which leads me to my question:

What the hell does "Sell 200 April at 142!" mean?

PLEASE if you know bless us with this info.....this is the only thing ive yet to not be able to find an answer to?

I don't even know what that word is or have even heard of it...

How is it pronounced? Use it in a sentence...what is it's origin

JasonBe

Is this the meaning?

I found one website that has a definition of cunk:

Cunk (CUNK)
A variation on the word "cunt". It was assumed that if you changed one letter, you could say it on the air. It was conceived at WAAF, but didn’t last long, and was referred to a few times on the current show (O&A/1997)

This is apparently from some radio show or something...a couple of guys named opie and andy but I'm not really familiar with it.

I guess we may not know exactly what "Cunk" is…

Can someone explain to me what the hell a Killing Floor is? I've been listening to a few blues albums and I still don't know.
