My only complaint? When it is used as a way of drawing attention to yourself. Walking down the street holding hands or sharing a soft kiss is one thing... walking down the street with your tongues down each other's throats can be gross!
Of course, the same thing could be said for pretty much any couple, regardless of their "persuasion." Maybe that's just a bad example.

hehe we dont throw it into peoples faces i think alot of times people wouldnt be sure if we were really close friends or a couple ... however i dont see any reason why i shouldnt beable to do things that straight couples do ... i dont appeciate when straight or gay couples are groping eachohter when theres children around ... but say at a adult party or club ... i see no reason why i shouldnt passionately kiss my girlfriend if i felt like it

what I do have a problem with is the hypocrisy (in my view anyway) of the gay community. They want to be treated as equal contributing members of society, the same as straight people. Good for them - I agree. Yet, in a movie for example, if a gay or a lesbian is perceived in a negative light, there is all kinds of screaming from the community "oh, there is another example of the negative stereotype of homosexuals"
I'm sorry - but if you want to be treated as equals, you are going to have to accept the fact that, like straight teachers, athletes and murderers, there are also gay teachers, athletes - and yes, even murderers. Its called being human - and that is all you want, isn't it? to be treated like every other human? Cause that is what you are - just because you fuck someone who has the same equipment as you doesn't make you any less - or more - human.

But I think they tend to be rather conservative, introspective people. Perhaps it's because of the additional social pressure on women, but lesbians seem generally to be so much quieter and more conformist than gay men. It's tougher to communicate with them, so I leave them lots of space and hope they're happy.
