What did you learn today?

The saying goes (at least I think this is how it goes) that it've been a bad day if you haven't learned something new.

So I was wondering, what have you learned today, that you'll share with us?

One thing I learned today was that according to the movie De-Lovely Cole Porter was bisexual/gay.

That no matter how cool the weather is on a Summer Evening best make sure the milk goes back in the refridgerator. Otherwise your looking at in chunky bits going in your coffee.......... which by the way I did NOT drink ok !!!

I learned about lien and some other problems I had never heard/read about before. I also learned (again) that visiting Lit is not such a good idea if I have no appointments I need to make. Reading newspaper isn't so very good either.

My only job at the moment is learning, so yes, I do learn something new everyday.

I learned that my new boss is not very bright and probably by definition, dangerous.

I learned to be extra careful of the corners of sleeves of those horrible mid-forearm style shirts... tried to wipe my brow with my arm while cooking and got myself right in the eye with a surprisingly sharp corner of cloth. ouch.

I learned a lot about pre mature babies today.

I didn't mind Cheesy Chucks! The pizza was okay when HOT. I always brought a book and often met friends. When I didn't have to chase the kids anymore it was fine.

It would be ok if I didn't have to chase kids, but I do. D is only two, so I gotta follow him around. Me and K supposedly take turns. That means K follows him a bit till he gets sidetracked (he's ADHD - it happens) and then Daniel finds his way somewhere or the other and I realize that K's not keeping track of him, so I follow him around until K realizes that he's missing D. I didn't get to eat even one piece of pizza without having to get up and return D to K.

I learned that an end of the season sale at Filenes with a 20% off for using their card on top is a good thing.

Wow! What a great day!!! *smiles* I know how delicious that can be to discover something like that. I was in Filene's August before last. Picked up a great silk jacket. It feels so wonderful!

I learned that some people will snub others, even when they are being offered help.

I learned that Ryan Phillippe played a gay teen on One Life To Live, in a very huge storyline that I've been reading about for years but didn't know who played the teen. It may sound trivial, but that soap opera is one of my obsessions, so it's a big thing for me.
I also learned that being a Domino's driver can make you really good tips! (My girlfriend just started working there)
