It's always hard to lose a student. A 32 year old former student lost her battle with stomach cancer.

My condolences. I've not had that happen to me yet. Given the way society is these days I wouldn't be surprised I eventually lose a few students.

Thank you. The first student I lost was hard. She was in my first class, which was kindergarten. The next fall Gloria fell down an elevator shaft. She was only 6 years old.

So sorry to hear that. I knew this sweet little girl, she would always hug me when she saw me, she lost her battle with her heart condition.

Today I learned that life's lessons, although not always easy, will make you stronger in the end.

Be grateful for each day, no matter how hard it is.
