i pick blue like the ocean - endlessly sweeping over the horizon into future's unseen so deep theres places nobody has ever been before with waves that can crash with painful fury or lap tenderly at the shore of my soul

I'd say it depends on the type of love.

Bright white if it's a blinding love.

Pitch Black if it's the kind of love that you cannot see past.

I want a nice cool calm blue love though, like a lake. The waters may ripple from time to time, but it will always return to normal.

Their is no colour to love.
Blue may be beautifull but its also the colour of ones who loives and is not loved. Love is all colours everywhere.

The color of love?

Ah, but love is not a colour, it is an entire painting.

Love is two partners, snuggling close together on a small park bench with trees behind them, a great overview of the ocean as the sun sets.

The colors of gold and pink and red mingling with the deep blue and green of the ocean as it calmly laps at the sandy shores. The twinkling of the stars as they begin to appear high overhead.

The gentle call of the birds in the trees around the bench. The dance of the fireflys as the waltz around the deserted beach, showing the footprints soon to be swept away by the neverending ocean.

The crisp autum air, which is neither too cold, nor too warm. The gentle wind, which rustles through the trees, yet chills no one.

The wonder of all creation as the two greatest women of all, Nature and the Sea gaze tenderly upon two lovers, sharing the joys of life.

Yeah.

Almost brings a tear to your eye until you see what the lovebirds have gotten up to while the rest of the description was going on.

But, they're alone, and in love, let them have their fun.

Technically, it's red. THat's what I'd say. Brown is maybe 2nd. No offense taken, OUTSIDER!!!!!!!! When people talk about my fetish, I just find it TOO DAMN HYSTERICAL!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad cause I was just funin' with ya ;)

The color of love is not one color in it's self, but every color. You have deffrant feelings of love with diffrant colors for each feeling. :)

For me, love is not a color. Love is being with another person that you love to spend time with, you can talk to each other but anything, open up to one another, trusting each other, accepting each other for whom they are, loving the good and the bad of the other, being there for that person in the bad as well as the good, having no secrets from each other, not wanting to change a thing about the other, and to be with each other and not wanting to go away for him or her. Every moment spent with the other is a moment you treasure. To love the other no matter what, to be a sholder for the other to cry on, to snuggle up and talk and talk.

Sexualalty, age or color does not matter when it comes to love. Love is the most powerful emtion a person has. LOVE IS EVERY COLOR. :)

Thank you.

I really liked that one.

It's possibly the most romantic setting I've ever written.

I might just base a story around that.

Hmmm.....

Then again, it'd be hard to keep up with that. I was really in the zone for that one.

Ah,yes.

Whenever I think about love, such things come to mind that I can only sigh.

For, as the curse of an antisocial Romantic, I am doomed to never know a whit of those emotions, andbe forever in a darkened room on sites such as these.

And boy, I'm getting sleeply here in the dark...

That was beautiful. Just one little problem, your start to many sentances with the word "the". Try re-writing it using other ways of putting it across.

There isn't any specific color of love. Technically it has always been bright red like red roses. But there are so many kinds of love. And I think that the color of love is how you are feeling and how you want to express your love at that time love changes and so does the color.

Oh for crying out loud. I've been sitting in the same darkened room for hours on end, staring at the glow of this computer screen, and you're worried about an overuse of the word 'the'?

You should be glad I could even spell that whole thing out, drawing such a beautiful picture with words alone. I'm not a great writer.

Not that I want to sound mean.

I thank you for your feedback. And, in retrospect...

You are right.

But, that said, I'm not changing it. Just too tired and lazty and stubborn.

Then again...well,....I might. Later. Just for you.

I did not mean to offend you. I was just giving you a tip. What you said was good stuff. I was just giving you a tip to make it better. :)
You don't have to change it at all. If you do change it, change it because you want to, not because some one tolled you. :)
