Hormones are powerful things. It took me years to feel like my old self, and even then I was changed completely. Not in a bad way, just different. I hope you are giving yourself the space to just let it be.

Less than one out of 20 women manage to navigate the cartoon femme fatale bullshit of the femdom scene to the point where they ID as "a Domme" at all. I can't blame them, and I realize that the notion of FemDom only resonates with me because I am off the bell curve and the cartoon is one that I personally erotocize and always have.

However, getting back ONTO the bell curve, most women I've met in the scene are submissives who are more complex than the label suggests - they're talented sadists, they have a boi of their own while they have their own Daddies, they're switches, or otherwise. Most Dommes I've met also have more complexity than the label suggests, too - vanilla fuck friends, a submissive past, a particular kink on the bottom.

Women have more permission to try out submissive/bottom events than men do, socially and within the scene as well. I RARELY encounter the mentality of "if you bottom/submit I can never submit to you again" even when I was pro and doing fantasy BS. Men don't process me that way or most Dominant women. H begs me only to never ever try making *him* switch with me.

If I had a dime for every time a guy in the scene got dumped/shit/or pre-emptively rejected as a Dom because he has bottom leanings or every time I've played in secret with a Dom BMOC of the scene - as Domme to him...

I don't think that Dominant women outnumber or remotely equal the number of submissive ones - mind. I don't think Dominant men do either, though, that's the thing.

And if "Dominant Woman" meant something other than a highly constructed male fantasy, I think more than 3 of us might be around at any given time in any environment.

Do people seriously think that only 3 Dominant women are floating around here because we're just THAT uncommon? Or is there something about the scene - as it is, if you took a snapshot - that is failing to attract and retain, as they call it?

Most vanilla women I've met are totally freaking INTRIGUED by the notion that I have a relationship in which I can spank him and it's not freak out time for him - they've asked thier BF at some point and been shot down, or they've never gotten the nerve to ask or whatever. It's not like they're going over to the other side, but more Daniel Craig suffering nut pain and less frumpy plumber crack in my wife's panties would go a long way for drawing out the numbers.
