Thinking, as I so often do when walking about, how cool it is that I live in a place where I can strike up a conversation with a stranger, and talk for quite some time, then run into someone who will offer me a ride the short way home. I always take up the offer, even though I don't need it; it's an opportunity to get to know someone, or get to know someone better. It's a pleasant way of life.
