I want to learn how to fish... like in real life and not in a videogame. :/

But the last time I went fishing, I didn't think I would be good enough to catch a fish and I was wrong. Instead, I couldn't figure out how to get the hook out of the fish's mouth.

I legit feel bad for that fish.

When I'm fishing in a place where there's a slim chance of catching any keepers, I flatten the barb of the hook with pliers. You may lose a few, but it's easier on the fish and easier on you. Just a tip.

I watch a channel called Fisherman's Life. I think the cool thing about his channel is that he does a lot of various types of fishing and crabbing along with cooking the catch right at camp.

It's a cool life, just not one I've ever envisioned for myself.

Yeah, saltwater fishing just seems way too expensive. Boats are expensive to buy and maintain. Even if I were to buy a small boat for fresh water, it's still cheaper.

Here in Georgia, the idea of salt water fishing is almost like a status symbol for some. Big new trucks, big boats, etc.

THAT SAID, Georgia is also hot and humid AS FUCK. That's the downside of fishing here.
