How do you help someone interning with you, when you really like them, really want them to succeed, but just aren't doing what they need to do in the position?

How do you get your husband to drive slower when you are together in a car and he's driving (and yes, I do drive sometimes, but that is not a good solution as I don't want to be the primary driver either)?

It seems I have no power in persuading or motivating others.
 
1. Let them fail. We learn more from failures than from success.

2. Scream bloody murder, repeating the speed, and claim there are cops everywhere.

3. Rum on the first really cold night of the season. Check.

4. When are they going to be home?

Learning to accept what is and what isn't can be freeing
Difficult but we get new chances every day
Learning not to remove someone else's lessons can also help us all grow.
 
Thinking that I feel shamed by Ms Lead, because I'm just thinking about tits. Can't help it. Just happens. :rolleyes:
 
They say sugar might be as addictive as cocaine, but you never hear stories about someone giving a stranger a blowjob behind a Burger King at 3 a.m. for a Reese's.
 
May I suggest making a list of the people you send a copy and paste message to so you won't send duplicates.
 
I understand. But people get in over their heads with pain killers. Some doctors have basically become drug dealers, instead of pursuing healthier means of pain management.

I was thinking along the lines of emotional pain, not physical.
