I'm thinking of a story I started this morning. It's called "Sex By The Numbers," and it's my second story in draft form.
I don't know when I'm going to get the chance to finish those two stories, but it's fun to have the ideas flowing.

Sharing one's self here is a two edged sword. On the one hand, I like being creative and expressing myself/sharing parts of myself in ways that I don't or couldn't in the real world. But there are those few men* who seem to think they are entitled to more than I want to share or reveal because I've already shared so much. I usually just ignore them but sometimes it makes me feel gross and I've been wondering if maybe I need to share less of myself because of it.

Unfortunately. This is why so many women have stopped sharing. I'm sorry you're dealing with it.

Unfortunately, there's always going to be that class of men who think that they're entitled to everything, they can act however they want, "because it's a sex site!" - woohooooo.

Just last night, someone was asked to share her private thoughts/messages, and "men" think it's okay.

As much as people don't like double standards, they exist for a reason. Men and women aren't the same and there are different rules for both sexes. Men can handle things women can't and women can handle things men can't.


I see the double standards as fair, because they all even out at the end.


I do not know who this person is or what they said, just stating the rules for men and women are different.

Women harassing women is still harassment. Women shouldn’t get a free pass to harass people. WTF.

While all these acts are wrong, does not change the fact that, there are different rules for men and women. Double standards exist in our society and even laws, just a fact of life. I did not shape this society, I just observe current events and history.

I don't know you Amanda. I admire how open and friendly you are though.

I think there's a line that gets unintentionally crossed sometimes between what we want to share for our own reasons and what we do to please others.
I certainly had to step right back while I tried to figure out the difference and I'm still not sure I've managed.

There are a lot of entitled people on Lit (mostly but not always men but also not every man) who will always want us to push past what we want in favour of their own desires.
As long as you are only sharing what you want and are comfortable with it I say keep going and put any other of the numerous entitled fuckers on ignore as they can really get you down if you let them.
