Hey man, I know you don’t know me, so feel free to ignore everything I’m about to say…
I’ve been in a similar place many many times before. It sucks, and it’s a terrible place to be. But being the good guy, etc is much better than the alternative. There are PLENTY of assholes in this world, don’t stoop to their level and become them. It would suck to lose another good and decent person.

I'm quite sure my daughter is going to kill her husband soon. For ST Patricks Day we wanted to tale Wonky out for green beer. My son in law had originally said he was going to stay home. When I said I was going, he changed his mind and said he was going. My daughter was like "uh. You told me you weren't coming? Mom says she's going and suddenly you want to go?"
He said "hell yeah. I've never seen your mom drunk before"
Fast forward to tonight when my son is over and they were trying to explain how funny it was. Son in law says "man that was an epic night. Hands down the best"
Again. The look on my daughter's face.
