I can read deleted comments, just FYI. I agree with you. I just don’t think either board is nastier than the other. The GB has trolls who operate like shock jocks. Without them, there’s no difference. I personally prefer in your face over saccharine.

Most of the GB regulars have moved on. Aside from the iso thread, and above mentioned trolls, there’s little difference now. It’s only those of us who’ve been here a long time who remember how it was.

The shock jock trolls statement is accurate, probably not much of a difference once you subtract them.

A lot of folks delete a lot of posts. My guilty pleasure here is that I can read them (the two mods I talk with most can’t, but I can be Ignored and they can’t. I’ll take the trade off. I think people should be able to Ignore us. It doesn’t affect our ability to moderate posts). I have commented about this publicly before because I’m not trying to hide or abuse it.

Folks will reach out to me to delete posts on closed threads. I’m more than happy to help out with that, so anyone who sees this, if you know of someone in that position ever, have them reach out to a mod.

PS I definitely wasn’t intending to call you out. I hope it didn’t feel that way, and if it did I am sorry.

That was odd. It’s not ever happened before. Housekeeping at hotel took my pillow case off my pillow I brought from home and put on a hotel pillow case. I had to call the front desk to make sure they don’t charge me for a pillow when they find their empty pillow case on the bed (folded nicely).
