What are you listening to? PB style.

Winterland, SF or Oakland Coliseum. Sometime around 1975-80. I might’ve been there.
Oh wow! I love some of those old Grateful Dead songs - my dad's dad was right intliked them them - and he used to drive me around when I was in elementary school - so he'd have his old tapes playing and I'd sit in the back seat singing away LOL. My taste for heavy metal probably comes from those days too - Led Zeppelin, and those other old Brit metal groups - Slade, Judas Priest, and Jethro Tull LOL.

I have this old CD somewhere......

And Motorhead of course.....

Best cover of "Heroes" ever

LOL. My musical tastes are....eclectic. My husband says weird, but I prefer eclectic

I am compiling music for a trip. I want to be ready with anything I might want to hear in the 70-80 hours of driving. Last time I spent days loading a new mp3 player and then discovered it was not compatible with the rental car. I did not think of headphones then. I have some of these, but will get more:
Lee Hazlewood
Beatles
Bob Dylan
Richard Hawley
Paul Simon
Heilung
Dead South
Tricky
Kim Carnes
Laika
Sonny Boy Williamson
Captain Beefheart
Dinah Washington

Was this a mistake? You can't possibly listen to Tricky.
Infrequently. More when I was younger. Now I mostly prefer mellower music. I have the Maxinquaye and Pre-Millennium Tension CDs. I have most of the work of PJ Harvey, so that's my usual pick for harder louder driving music.
