What Are You Listening To Now v8.0

I want sympathy. Work is making me listen to 80s hair bands. I'll get skewered for this but fuck it. 75% of 80s music is garbage. Especially when it's on repeat

I love sharing good music, especially not very well known stuff. I hope someone enjoys this as much as I do.

It's my son's fault that I like Trance
Big fan of Armin van Buuren. He's also cute helps
I am a very old Swifty fan
I refuse to listen to angry sounding music or anything negative sounding.
I have a soft spot for 60s music because I grew up with it.

Current song I listen to too often is Blinding Light by the Weekend.

Yggdrasil - Brothers of Metal

Kost Gordiyenko: Azov movement

Ukrainian National Anthem - War Edition

Among Bach’s many duties during his 27 year tenure as Thomaskantor in Leipzig, he was required to compose a new work for every Sunday service or feast day. In total, he composed over a thousand cantatas; unfortunately, only 300 have survived.

The BWV 106 cantata is exceptional not only for its ethereal beauty but also for its unusual instrumentation: no violins! Just two recorders, two viola da gambas, and basso continuo. Yet this minimalism produces a surprisingly rich and soothing sound.

In a place of vast darkness, all one can do is strike a match... so let there be Bach.

After 209 pages and 5300+ posts, I think it's time to open up a new thread for more merry music sharing!

And since I'm a fucking attention whore, I'll start with a bit of shameless self-promotion. Here's a new song my lady love and I made for our third (!) album due out this summer. I can't staple more than a few sentences to each other, but music making works kinda fine.

@Blind_Justice, and your lady,
How marvelous... it almost puts me in mind of The Cure to some extent (one of my favourite bands btw) I'm going to find the full version now. At present I am listening to Tatu back from the 2000's.
Deepest respects,
D

1980's Finnish Rock band Skädäm performing their 1986 hit, Katujen Kuningatar (Queen of the Streets). Jukka "Frogley" Mänty-Sorvari is the lead singer for Skädäm, a 1980′s Finnish Rock group whose hit song this was back in 1986. Skädäm broke up in 1987 but since 1997 have got together to play one or two gigs a year Katujen kuningatar translates into English as "Queen of the Streets"
