Hmm? Nosy (bored) people (me) want to know. How about dessert?
 
Pork shoulder roast, sweet potatoes, baby carrots, carrot/onion/cabbage coleslaw

apple pie and a tossed fried salad
 
Hmmm... not sure yet- I have nothing to eat in my apt except for soup and I really don't feel like going to the store to get anything. Anyone wanna come over and be my main course? ;)

Fried salad I think is one of my own inventions.

Take:

Spinach
Romaine Lettuce
Green Onion
Red Onion
Thin slice carrots

cut it all into nice bite size pieces


Then in a small bowl make a vingrette from:

oil
balsavinager
basil
summer savory
thyme
rosemary


take a large fry pan heat to medium, pour in oil heat till it snaps when you sprinkle water on, dump in the salada and stir vigarously until all glistens, then immediately dump into a big salad bowl and sprinkle with the chesse of your choice i perfer fresh parmesian and motzerella
 
though it sounds quite tempting lilminx, gotta stick around and make sure the chuck roast doesn't burn. Perhaps you can make it over here though. We're also having mashed potatos (secret recipe), brocolli and cheese sauce, and applesauce.

Oh and for desert, homemade chocolate chip cookies, and Bryers vanilla bean ice cream.

Sounds good, Lobito- I'll be right over- we'll have to play really hard though, to burn off all that fattening food! :)
 
At last report....it sounded like we were having food....but I'll let you know how that works out....
 
I had thanksgiveing dinner left overs

Yum Yum for my Tum Tum.....with some mustard based BBQ Sauce.

On the side I will have BBQ Beans and Texas Toast with some home made slaw...........

I have been known to go to more than one place. Especially on Thanksgiving. LOL Anyone else do that?

You bet I goto a coupla places on Turkey day here. Have been known to frequent as many as 3 places on Turkey day.......

Oh I'm starving! BBQ? That sounds good..:p We will probably order some wonderful O'Charleys tonight at work. :) Chicken crispers , with honey mustard sauce. Corn on the cob, baked potato and rolls with butter. Chocolate chip cake for dessert or maybe butterscotch pie. :p I'm suddenly in a hurry to get to work.

Hey Tod.. thats cool. Where I come from we call that "Wilted Lettuce". We fry chopped up bacon...put the vinager in with the bacon after its done ..some water..and sugar. Heat it all up until it boils.. then pour it over the lettuce. Ummmmm

wilted lettuce by a canadian TV chef James Barber of the Urban peasnat is where I got the idea from.

I simply modified it to something more like what I would like.

the water and suger just didn't sound good to me personally but mom loved it like that.

Probably speghetti. Quick, easy, and we have the stuff to make it.
