My Crime story gets published tomorrow. On the list I have the final chapter/epilogue of Bad Brat Girl, and a humiliation kink story with the same characters, roles reversed. Then there's the long saga of Richie and Emily getting together (I tried just taking a scene of that to use as a Summer story, which turned into another 17k story...), the episode where Rach and Emma try to get Brad into BDSM, Brad meeting Lisa again, then there's a pregnancy story, a First Time (after childbirth) story, a few stories of some of my characters dealing with middle age and offspring (poor old Gareth may finally get his own story), then for some light relief there's the immortal being eating up kinksters' thoughts, and the fiendish kinky vegan (very happy about cruelty to human animals).

And another dozen non-lit stories. And a few activist presentations to prepare.

I took a full time job a few weeks ago after almost two years of gigging. Progress will be slow for the foreseeable future. Even slower than it has been.

Damn, that just gave me an idea that maybe isn't yours. Time traveller's wife gives him a hall pass, but only valid when he travels to the future after she is dead or the past before they meet.

Damn, that just gave me an idea that maybe isn't yours. Time traveller's wife gives him a hall pass, but only valid when he travels to the future after she is dead or the past before they meet.

Hah, no, no time travel in this one. It started as a simple concept: what if the wife, in trying to be compassionate when using her hall pass, instead made things so much worse?

In most LW hall pass stories, the wife tells the husband ahead of time that she plans to use it. They play a lot like the "honey, we need to talk" sorts of stories, with the additional wrinkle that (usually) the husband had given the hall pass early in their marriage/before their marriage as a show of good faith, and also usually at least slightly under duress. A typical setup might be that the FMC got cold feet at the proposal or leading up to the wedding because she was afraid she was getting married too young, etc., so the MMC offers her the pass whole gambling that she'll never use it. Which, of course, she does, or there's no story.

The setup for mine changes two things up: it's a mutual exchange near the beginning of their marriage, albeit one that happened after a long night of drinking and getting high; and, instead of telling the husband ahead of time, she tells him months after the fact, reasoning that it would be cruel to put him through waiting for her to go out, use her pass, and come home afterwards. Instead of this making things better, he gets incredibly angry at his wife, accusing her of using the hall pass as an excuse after the fact, i.e., they hadn't even talked about them in years, and he believes she decided to fuck around and then, after the fact, remembered the hall pass and is trying to use it to skate on what she'd done. Of course, it's all a bit more complicated than that as things come out.

What it's ended up as, quite accidentally, is a meditation on how people remember different events, place different value on romantic gestures, etc. Still a WIP, though, so who knows how it will change after that?

Disconnected causality loops in time travel are always an issue. You've got this circle that just exists independent of everything else in the universe. They basically spawn a whole new universe.

I recently submitted my story "Storyteller" for the Summer Lovin' event. I immediately swore off writing any further erotic fiction for the foreseeable future, both because it was a grind and because there are other projects to get to.

That was five days ago. I've just put down the first notes for my Halloween story, provisionally titled "My Boyfriend's Boyfriends."

I feel that this chain of events is somehow vitally descriptive of me.

Possession is inherently magical, but there is not much magic otherwise, it's not a fantastical world, just your boring modern European city.
Possession is also inherently non-consensual, and one could describe what is happening to some of these people are sexual assault (even if they don't become aware of it), but the non-con category is about playing with the boundaries, not outright crashing them.
The main focus of the protagonist is his fetishes with some women's clothing items, but the fetish category is not really for vanilla stuff like tights and swimsuits.
It is also an exploration of a man discovering womanhood, in small bits, mostly sexually, but the trans category is not a good fit either, considering most stories are about actual trans people and crossdressers.

Is there some kind of guide or good discussion about this? What categories mean exactly?

Mind Control might fit. I mean, he’s literally controlling them, even if it is through possession. I know there’s at least one series in there where the guy’s power is being able to swap his wife’s mind into another woman’s body; seems like it would fit.

Yeah, that's eerily similar in concept. Good tip, I didn't even notice that category, lost in the middle ranges.
Not necessarily what the category regulars would look for, but oh well, I can't think of any better.

I realized from one comment, that those who HATE sharing don't like this story because although he gets back at his ex by really driving her insane, he shares his new girlfriend to make the offending videos used against his ex-wife.

Oh, well. At least his new GF likes to do it.

After a prolonged hiatus from writing this summer I am back to it. Finished a story that had been languishing for months, integrated feedback from one of the two editors I use, and this weekend I have managed over 2500 words on the long awaited next chapter of my story The Sweetest Berry.

Very happy to have rediscovered my horny and creative streak. It was a depressing summer.
