What are we all writing right now?

Well, sorry to piss on your leg and tell you it's raining, but that's sort of what I do. Derail threads, I mean. Not piss on your leg.
A monkey wrench is a great tool for beating off monkeys.

I can't believe that it's taken more than 60 pages for this thread to derail.

I'm sure it will re-rail itself. If there's one thing the AH denizens love more than writing, it's talking about their own writing.

One person’s thread derailment is another person’s creative stimulation.

Speaking of which: if he was in the frozen tundra and his leg was frozen to a rail in the path of an oncoming train, would you piss on it?

Trying to re-rail things because I managed to think I was on the post about not wanting to talk about AI:

I just finished my rough draft of my story (instead of the 3 poems that I already have ready to go) for the Winter 2025 contest. It definitely needs editing and to be typed up, but is my longest yet (39 handwritten pages, but since my handwriting is big, it will certainly not be 39 lit pages). Is it good? Probably not. But it's in a definite new category and I enjoyed giving it a try and only put a little tiny bit of submissiveness in (some day I'll write something with 0% submission, I swear!)

Pen and paper, how quaint.

I'm writing a story about a woman who is surgically transformed into a large breasted giant fungus 🤣 what is wrong with me?

Was she large breasted before the surgical transformation into the giant fungus?

I did write a story with only humans a few months ago, but even I can't be entirely sure that there was nothing supernatural going on... If we keep trying I'm sure we'll both eventually manage!

Ya know, you the 0% submission, and me the 0% supernatural/science fiction.

Only...humans?! If you can do it, I can do it!

I took advantage of a rare, mid-week, day off to finally start a new story. I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but the seal has been broken, and that's always the hardest part for me. Anyway, I've got my heart set on a short, hopefully sweet, holiday-set tale for non-erotic readers. We shall see if I can stay disciplined enough to pull it off!
