I've decided to have another go at my Star Wars fanfic: "Silver-Tongued Diplomacy". Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Leia needs Luke's help on a diplomatic mission. A beautiful Senator wants to meet the Alliance's newest hero, and things get heated.

Just gearing up to write something new. I'm at the stage where I'm picking characters' names; I'll probably launch the story tomorrow. a heartwarming holiday story of blackmail and unethical fuckery at a school.

It's always exciting.

Have a lot of misstarts with a lot of ideas I've fallen into one I am loving writing and I'm onto chapter 3 now over 4k words done.

A valedictorian type studious girl already accepted to go to her dream school for paleology has two guy friends as they start their last semester of high school. One friend kind of a chauvinist obsessed with gambling, and the other secretly crushing on her. She was recently rejected by the school jock, and is annoyed and gets coaxed into running for prom queen, but the two friends put stakes on it. If she wins with the coaching of the crush guy, she has to do whatever he says for 30 days, and if she loses, she has to do whatever the gambling friend says for 30 days. That's the kind of premise, but I've gotten way deep with her new stepbrother/stepdad with the mom going away on a business trip leaving them alone and the rival for valedictorian. Plus the hot girls and the guy who rejected her. It's going to be a slow burn into well her becoming a sex object of sorts.

If I can work this out, there is an easy follow up with the 30 days bet and then her off to college for another sequel. I'm loving the main character Eun-Ji and the other characters as well. Even the crushing guy's twin sister is fun to write.

It may take a while to finish, but I have a lot of ideas going on.

Probably a good move. Don't try and finish your first masterpiece while you're navigating the mechanics of story submission and getting to know the geography of your potential readers. Do some self-contained stories ('what the cat saw last night in London.....') under around 10K words and then return to the long one when you're sure of your voice.

Sound advice and I was thinking the same myself... put the sprawling novella on hold and write something short and punchy. Trouble is all my story ideas seem to involve massive amounts of scene-setting and establishing characters etc... I need to get over that!

LL, maybe it could be useful to read through some of the 750 Word Project stories and write a couple to get your juices flowing? Many of us are represented there. The idea is to write a story in exactly 750 words, which usually means dropping the characters straight into the action and keeping it to a couple of key ideas. A lot of people have found it a useful exercise (I certainly did).

Good luck however you approach things from here!

I am attempting a different take in the Loving Wives genre. Husband, in a strong loving relationship with his wife, gifts her the freedom to explore other men. She takes a boyfriend, and for many months, it works out well, as there is reclaiming after, as well as the aftercare a relationship like this needs. The boyfriend has also become a friend of the husband, as several times it has turned into a threesome. The last couple of times the boyfriend was over, he could tell that the husband seemed miserable and not happy, so when the wife went to the john to clean up, the boyfriend asked the husband to meet him for lunch the next day. When the husband revealed that they hadn't had sex in several months and she was treating him like crap, the boyfriend said lets go get your several changes of clothes and other essentials and I will put you up in my AirBnB. Turn your phone off and get yourself a burner. Let's see how she reacts when you are not there for her.

I go deeper into several conversations between the wife and boyfriend, but the whole crux of the story is that when she turns into an evil cunt to her husband, the boyfriend chooses the friendship of the husband over the sex with the wife. Just don't quite know where to take it from here. I STRONGLY do not want to go the BTB route. Any ideas?

Tomorrow, June 8th, my 13th story drops. It's the first of mine since last August. It's called THE MORE MOM, and despite it having the word MOM in the title, it's not an incest story. In fact, it covers just about every single kink and sex act outside of incest. Having come from an LDS background (no longer a member of the faith), I heard stories that would never make it into an episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. This one is true, it's twisted, sordid, and everything you would expect from me (if you know my work).

It's long for my writing style, but not epic in length. I don't want to do chapter drops as I think this is a real page turner that you can read in one sitting, but for some of you who can't resist, it might take eight sessions to complete.

I'm excited to be back and posting, and have a slate of transgressive erotica ready to drop at about one per month.

I STRONGLY do not want to go the BTB route.

I mean, you already did the setup for the BTB route. That's kinda the problem.

The only way I can think to subvert that is a second twist in which the wife is revealed to have understandable reasons for 'turning into an evil cunt', as you say. But that's its own can of worms, I think.

Or you can just cop out of the corner you backed yourself into by making them both realize they're bi and then running away to Tahiti together

I finished my first real draft of Import Days (27K) my Nude Day entry. It is for First Time, my first submission in that category. I have finished several proofreading and localized wordsmithing passes. I am going to let it sit for a few days before making my final edits and submitting it. Hopefully, my SO will give me their feedback in that interim.
