Final update.

When I got to court the judge informed me that I was facing up to $1000 fine, and 6 months in jail! That's a bigger deal then every one was leading me to believe. But when I told him that I do have my licence now, he gave me a $250 fine, of which $210 is suspended. So with court costs I'm paying $100 in biweekly instalments of $20. I feel really good that this is all over now, at least it got my ass in gear so that I did finally pass my test.

Oh, hon, this is just the best news ever. I'm so happy for you. At least that's relatively affordable, I was worried they would give you some outrageous fine.
